shoutout to the piper for having some of the most descriptive appearance description in the podcast. it makes my character design-hating brain happy <3 if you saw my post about having to cut 12 hands from a little while back though you'll know that I've definitely still had some regrets regarding this selection.

so I've been working on this since like mid december so I'm glad this is over but I'm pretty happy with how this came out! Did the sketching in december, cutting in january, and printed it this past weekish :]! I went with the piper partly for the aforementioned character design aspect but also because I feel like the roughness of printmaking works pretty well with tma in general but the slaughter specifically. Ironically though this print edition actually came out much cleaner than I was expecting given my pretty poor record of achieving clean prints. (I only really messed up two!)

ok, i have finally gotten to season 5, and i have got to say one thing. this fanbase infantilizes martin to Hell and back and i do NOT understand how you can do it if you finished this damn podcast, i understand hes very sweet and he has a really cute voice but from 165 to 175 i think i have heard him pretty cheerfully ask jon to kill people about twice per episode on average,
