one day ruben and niall bump into bill in a pub and niall is clearly struck by this slightly less insane version of his brother

bill and niall go out behind ruben's back until he eventually finds out and a fight breaks out but for once ruben is going after someone who can actually hit back

it ends with a niall sandwich 👀👀👀

(okay but but but ruben immediately drawn to his doppelganger bill because ruben sees himself and if there's one thing ruben does that isn't niall kennedy it's protecting himself and now bill falls under that umbrella, taking up a protective role with him which annoys the absolute hell out of bill who is at best extremely irritated by ruben and at worst fond of this mirrored version of him that can get along with the boys and blend in and be loud and abrasive and loved for it and still happily cozy up to bill at night and not give a shit what anyone on their crew thinks)

niall would not survive a blond floppy haired version of ruben who's soft spoken and would give niall the bitchiest once-over - he'd be shaking with the horny. ruben would catch bill and niall kissing and want to watch because he can't fuck niall himself so the next best thing is watching basically his own twin fuck niall.
