I'm a serious athlete now (aka back to lifting three times a week), so I'll be so so serious about it. he's currently quite heavy and burly, which makes any sort of backflip hard - but not impossible. there are quite many factors that can be pros - relatively average height, athleticism (built while playing soccer, now he's just beefy on top of that), and high center of gravity (definitely more mass in upper body). this pattern of movement wouldn't be extremely unusual for a person playing soccer, but it seems like he's playing mainly as a midfielder (less flashy, more stamina and power). conclusion: physically not impossible, if hard - I think it would be hard for him to generate the speed needed to do a cork.
but do I think we are getting anything of the kind? not really, but only because I think he wouldn't want to spoil the skill. on the other hand, it'd be hilarious to have something like that in the repertoire and use it to tease. okay, maybe I'm on the fence with this one...
I generally think everyone is gnawing at the bars of the enclosure a bit too hard; from a marketing point of view, I'd feed the fandom slowly to generate more interest/engagement. give the man time until the weekend, at least!

idk I just think happy queer stories need to be properly labeled so I can be warned beforehand to not get invested in the main ship because there won't be a culminating catharsis of mutual corruption and self-betrayal crystalizing into an inevitable murder-suicide :/ . like I don't think happy endings in queer media shouldn't be "allowed" to exist or whatever I just think tbh honestly to be honest that those creators need to think and be more responsible and let me have my boundary of nottttt wanting to see that. this is because I feel it's really important for me to see myself represented and reflected positively on screen and the real truth of my lived experience is that I'm gay and evil and I'm not going to make it.
