Biographie

Al’Tarba est auteur, compositeur et interprète. Petit fils d’un collectionneur de vinyles, bassiste, guitariste et fan de rap depuis son enfance, c’est après un passage par le punk qu’Al’Tarba s’est plongé à cœur perdu dans la culture Hip Hop. Avant tout compositeur, il officie également dans le groupe toulousain Droogz Brigade en tant que MC. Son style fortement inspiré par la scène new-yorkaise et les films gore peut être définit à la fois comme sombre, sale, mélodieux et à la finition impeccable.

Après deux albums sortis et de nombreuses collaborations avec des rappeurs du monde entier ( Raekwon, Ill Bill, Q unique, Onyx, Swift guad, Zoxea etc..) et apres avoir été répéré par certains des plus grands beatmakers ( Dj Muggs, Necro..)le producteur toulousain propose un projet gratuit disponible sur le net ,"Lullabies For Insomniacs", d'un tout autre genre musical.

Pas vraiment un troisième album, ce nouveau projet ressemble plus à une compilation d'une vingtaine de morceaux réalisés récemment – pour la plupart déjà en écoute sur YouTube – et enfin disponibles en haute qualité. L'ensemble est dans la veine abstract hip-hop, entre rêve et cauchemar, et majoritairement instrumental malgré la présence de quelques featurings (Q-Unique, Lord Lhus, Droogz Brigade...). Une initiative qui permet de patienter jusqu'à la sortie du troisième album du producteur toulousain, annoncé pour la fin de l'année.
