Welcome, everyone, to my blog! My name is Manic Studios here online, but you can call me Manic, or Onyx, I don't mind either. My pronouns are They/He/It (please capitalize them when referring to Me). I'm not comfortable sharing My age, but those who know, know.

This is My main blog! I'll reblog a ton here, from either fandoms I'm in, writing tips/struggles/tricks, or anything related to mental illness and the queer experience (of which I am a part of both).

I am a writer, duh, and as such I will post a lot of my writing snippets. I also have a bit a lot of flair for dramatics, and that may come through in My posting/writing.

what people don’t understand about how adhd is disabling is that it’s not just getting temporarily distracted from, like, school work or hobbies. it’s getting distracted/being unable to motivate yourself to go to the doctor, eat regularly, do hygiene tasks, etc. it’s not knowing when or how long it will take you to do something, ANYTHING, and in many cases that thing is taking a shower or keeping your house from turning into a biohazard. it’s about being fundamentally incapable of controlling your attention and focus on anything, even and especially things you need to do to survive.

Do not forget that discord is still planning on moving forward with age verification and has only "delayed it" until "the later half of 2026." They are hoping you will forget while they quietly roll it out when no one is looking. Continue to message them about it. Continue to talk about it. Make it clear this is unacceptable. Discord is one of the only places left you can even talk about or share adult content in private at scale anymore. What are your thoughts/theories on my AU Wild Kratts: Animal Magic so far, given the few lore posts and single one-shot I've posted

(I will post more, dw, I just don't wanna give everything away, yknow?)

I’m super interested and excited to see where it goes! I love the idea of the Crew with magic powers, and I think all their powers are really fitting! The one-shot was super intriguing and I especially love the focus on Jimmy, he’s so underrated!

My first theory is that Jimmy’s magic comes from Ignis-Terra, the fire spirit, because of the line in his one-shot that says “That was until he accidentally set his blanket on fire.”

Another theory I have is that Martin overworking his powers will come back to bite him in a very bad way. A couple reasons, 1) I know he’s Your favorite, so of course You’re gonna traumatize him, even in a Jimmy-centric fic he’s still not safe lmao, and 2) in the one-shot Jimmy notices Martin’s crystal darkening, which is strange bc the lore posts say crystals darken when you don’t use your powers, yet Martin is said to overuse his powers and his crystal is still darkening? So perhaps it can darken from overuse as well (or other reasons)? (Unless I’m reading this incorrectly)

I’m super excited to see how the other characters use their magic! Ooh and I can’t wait to see what the villains are like too! Supposedly there’s a character named Anita Donata, perhaps Donita has a sister? Or other relative?

Soooo to point two of Martin: the wording is a little off. Jimmy assumes that Martin's crystal is darkening, not necessarily that it is (he doesn't see it). For context: its not. Overuse of magic has different effects.

Im not going to say much more than that because it would be spoilers... :)
