"They were treated like one of the animals- Actually, no. The animals were treated better than they were."
"no please!" whumpee screams, clawing at the gap under the door, "please don't leave me in here, i'll do anything!"
whumper freezes and cracks the door just enough to look at whumpee, "anything?"
cute whumpy self portrait i don’t think i posted!
that’s my stuffed bunny! 🐰
WHUMP PRØMPTS
Caretaker's wrists are bound behind them, so they use their teeth to bite through Whumpee's gag
Whumpee spits blood at Whumper after they ask them to spill information
Whumpee's arms are tied high enough that they can't protect their ribs, can't curl up,cant double over, can't do anything but endure the pain
Caretaker counts every scream, every groan of pain because it's the only way to know Whumpee is still alive in the other room
"Look at me." Whumpee can't. They're too busy staring at the blood on the floor, trying to ignore the finger trailing down their thigh
whumpee escaping from captivity on a horse... the core strength, the pain in every galloping step. gritting their teeth and growling and crying out in pain...
several hours later, and theyre near collapsed on the back of their horse, a slow moving pace, still wheezing and whining in pain <33333
Two captive and/or pet whumpees meet for the first time and get along instantly. Finally, someone else who knows what it's like, who is on equal footing. Their captors/owners don't particularly care how they interact, so they're able to bond.
...And then one of them realises that they could see what it's like to be in charge for a change. To be the strong, cruel one in a dynamic. To cause hurt, instead of being hurt.
How does the other react? Do they dare to fight back, knowing the aggressor doesn't truly have power over them? Or do they role over and accept their new friend is just another whumper?
Different types of conditioning for different whumpees is really interesting because it changes their fear responses! Like
A slave whumpee that was conditioned to keep their hands in front of them or else they'd get whacked in the arm with a cane. Their reaction to realizing they're not doing it is to flinch and grab their arm.
A living weapon whumpee that was trained to stand stiff and tall, or they'd be slapped in the face. Now when they catch themselves slouching, they squint and stiffen, clenching their jaw so they don't accidentally bite their tongue when they're slapped.
A prisoner whumpee freezing up and going still when a door clangs. if they blended in, an angry guard might pick a more defiant prisoner to make an example of.
A pet whumpee that was conditioned to pretend to be happy and cute, and was kicked across the floor when they didn't. When they're caught being upset, they skitter to the other end of the room and protect their ribs and face.
The right-hand-slave of the king or cult leader that had to look amazing and represent the kingdom or they'd be whipped that night. If they do something awkward, they go cold and swallow, fearing punishment later.
I love it when Whumpees aren't inherently good people. Maybe they've been horrible, even abusive, in the past. They regret it, but haven't made amends with those they wronged. This is mainly due to Whumpee's cowardice and belief that they wouldn't be forgiven anyway.
Then they get abducted by Whumper, who could be a former victim of Whumpee's or just closely affiliated with Whumpee's victims. (Personally I like the idea of Whumper being close to one of Whumpee's victims, the latter of whom was driven to suicide partially because of Whumpee's actions.)
Whumper continuously tortures Whumpee over the span of what feels like days. Whenever Whumpee flinches away or cries, they receive an even more painful punishment.
"Don't you DARE cry," Whumper would hiss. "You think this is bad? Imagine how your victims felt. This is nothing, nothing compared to the pain you caused."
Or if they were feeling particularly smug:
"You thought you were so tough, huh? So untouchable; so high and mighty. Look at you now. Pathetic cockroach."
And Whumpee doesn't protest. Doesn't try defending themselves, even as their eyeball hangs from its socket, as skin peels off their back like a snake's, as their nails decorate the floor like grotesque snowflakes.
Because why would they defend themselves? Whumpee hasn't done a single good thing in their life. They deserve it. At least this way, they might bring peace to someone else.
They can only hope that eventually, Whumper will forgive them enough to kill them quickly.
