On top of her frequent medication and stretches, Little Crow would often meet with The Dreamer for massages. They took her physical health, especially her mobility, VERY seriously. during these appointments, they were able to relax and soothe her muscles, as well as check for changes in her condition.

On top of the medical aspect, it was also a time for the two of them to spend time together. It was a moment of intimacy and connection for the two of them, one that was taken away.

Crow doesn't resent Moonpaw or Moth for their grief - how could she when she's grieving just as much? Still, it's hard to bring herself to burden them with her own problems, so she's let her joint pain worsen over the past few moons.

Here we see her caving in and turning to Silver Sage, taking comfort in the soothing touch and connection with a new cat. It wasn't easy showing him the weaker, less fun side of her. She's a bit surprised he was so willing, and impressed in his willingness to do it even while admitting he isn't very good. His softness and compassion towards her is very appreciated, as is his eagerness to learn.

#oohhhhhh can i just say how much i LOVE the way youve portrayed this aspect of chronic pain #my gf has back muscles that get so tight and twisted due to other issues #and i put a lot of time and effort into working with her and learning how best to massage those muscles!#and so its just really nice to see the work AND the intimacy of that portrayed in a way i never get to see 🥰🥰🥰#thank you!!!

i should probably reread the books bc my memory couuuulllldddd be very wrong in this regard but from what i do remember i always think its interesting how like, at least for many years, tawnypelts fandom personality was that she hated tigerstar and distanced herself from her father due to that one scene in tnp where she refuses to train in the df, when i feel like its always been the opposite? i dont think she condones him or necessarily adores him as a father, but i do think she has a very different take on him than like, brambleclaw (or at least arc1 brambleclaw) does based on the fact that she joined shadowclan to be with him and then also named her son after him......i feel like canon kind of glosses over the fact that she named her SON after her father lol. like im not saying she like, Loves him or has the same bond as like, say squirrelflight and firestar, but i dont think the whole "she absolutely hates him" is really in line with canon. maybe im remembering her wrong. i just think its more interesting if her take on tigerstar is much more nuanced and a little biased due to being his daughter, while not actively condoning him
