❥︎ Okada Izou, The Ghost of Tosa, is a person least inclined to fall to the whims of romance. He has lived his entire life, being a lapdog to each and every employer he had taken lives for, and died in bitterness over a betrayal he thought had come from the man he treated as a friend, Ryouma. The thought of romance, let alone affection is enough to repulse him at first, preferring to cringe or show disgust for such displays that looked as if they're a brick slammed down on his face with the label of 'things you cannot have.'

❥︎ But ever since you've summoned him as your servant? Izou was still reeling from all the changes in his life, compared to the past. At first, he'd view you just like any other employer but with warnings here and there of his man-slaying traits. He won't even mind it, and find it naturally should anyone be intimidated by him. He feeds off of slaying people, as a form of thrilling pleasure. But if you do ever get closer to him, you've started seeing less of a brash man-slayer and more of the man he is, minus the manslaying and brash side of his. Izou is a lonely man, and had a lonesome life and end.

❥︎ But if ever you truly did bond with him against all odds, despite his outward presentation as a bloody man-slayer, then, well, be his guest. Okada Izou is a man who'd kill not because it is in his lifeblood now, but out of sheer will to protect you. He's more than insistent in providing your safety, and could easily point a blade at anyone just because they've offended you in his presence. Another point to recognize is that once he acknowledges you more, is that he invites you out to hang out through drinks here and there (he's a heavy drinkerr).

❥︎ Once he does start to realize that he's growing fonder of you, or that he started noting your absences more— Izou initially would try shrugging it off. But the more he seemed at ease beside you, and with the developing urge to protect you beyond mere killing even Izou had started to question just how far his devotion and loyalty truly stretched. He can't be that attached or obsessed with you, can he? That's ridiculous!He'd question. Yet the way his heart would palpitate whenever you'd go out on a mission without him or even just simple training made him feel truly differently. Worry gnawed at his heart.

❥︎ Izou isn't one to admit so easily that he could even feel love. No. It can't be. He'd be in strong denial about it. He's a man-slayer, devoid of attachment and such emotions since his life. He may not be that smart, but Izou would eventually be able to tell that he's growing fond of you beyond just master and servant or even friends. He doesn't deserve someone like you or anything like that. Yet, he also can't bring himself to just kill you off or destroy you to eliminate such feelings to solve his romantic dilemma. Izou would simply end up avoiding you, not wishing to acknowledge the way his heart would leap, the way everything else gets blurred out and how the world stops whenever he's with you. It's for your own good too, he'd think.

❥︎ And yet, he underestimated the full extent of your affection that turns out you've long since reciprocated too. When you notice Izou deliberately starting to look unavailable or is avoiding you (also with help from a small talk from Ryouma about his friend), you end up trying your ways to reach Izou. Izou is good at hiding in the shadows and sneaking around. But he certainly isn't good enough to counter your persistence. And it's only when he got caught off-guard once with Ryouma did you finally catch up with him.

❥︎ One confrontation led to another in the form of an exchange of confession. Izou was reluctant, cited his vices and that there could've been more better ones out there. Admittedly, maybe even someone like Ryouma. He's violent, doesn't use his head, only knows how to kill— and he'd get immediately shushed by your own strings of counters over your feelings for him. That it was his other side of the heart that was exactly what made you fall in love with him. Love is a strong word. Blades are strong. And yet, even Okada Izou relented to defeat in the face of your unwavering devotion to him. Suit yourself then. Okada Izou loves to gamble. Thus, loving him would be akin to gambling with life itself.

❥︎ Izou would highkey make it known that you're his lover. At least, it'll ring clear to everyone's heads that crossing you meant crossing him~ He'd be more protective compared to before. He'd follow you around as if he were some puppy, be loud and prideful but of course with smitten respect for you.

❥︎ Forgive him. He still isn't versed with love, but at least, he's so open in his adoration of you even though... He's a mouthful about it. Okada Izou would like for the world to hear, even in his drunken musings about how wonderful you are. He thinks so highly of you. When you're feeling down too, Izou may not know how to comfort someone that much aside from drinking out together, but it was his uncertainty yet positive affirmations of your character that does cheer you up~ (give him a good hug to see those pretty pink cheeks of his! ♡)

❥︎ Should anyone ever upset you, just say the word and there'll be some bloodshed! Of course, you do discourage him from violence, which Izou does surprisingly take well and just muses that they only got away because his beloved s/o is so considerate that they should be grateful to you. (He's just really that smitten with you, aye.)

❥︎ Izou doesn't openly say it aloud but he feels a lot more comfortable being vulnerable with you, even though he mostly only could express it whenever he's drunk, since he's too prideful to admit it when sober. But of course, he's no longer just a talkative drunk! He'd totally be an affectionate one who'd blabber a lot, and lean on you while he does so. Don't worry about being vomited on, hehe. He'd sooner plop down on the floor or perhaps be more mindful of how much he drinks, for you, as to not vomit on the floor instead. He doesn't want to bring you great trouble even though he could barely help it around drinking!

❥︎ Valentine's Day is just around the same day as his Birthday, so a double celebration it is whenever the fourteenth of February always comes by~ and since you're his lover, it's got an extra layer of meaning now. His Birthday became quite a lot more romantic now too. You two would totally match with his scarf exchange gift (in his Valentine's scene, he gave you a scarf to match with him~) Izou might consider more match-ups with you, teehee even though he'd deny or say aloud that it'll make you both look ridiculous. But he'd happily wrap his scarf around you, in the most gentlest way possible in contrast to every word that comes out of his mouth.

❥︎ Speaking of clothes, Izou would totally wear his special clothes for you! Be it his ceremonial attire or even his western clothes! He'd rock as your bodyguard and perhaps a gentleman too, just to probably outdo Ryouma or that he could totally look like a proper lover too despite being a manslayer.

❥︎ Kisses? Your first kiss most definitely would be the reluctant experimental one, but as it goes on, the more confident Izou becomes and thus the more intense your kisses may become~

❥︎ Dating spots or dating in general? Hmm, drinking and drinking~! Kidding aside, Izou would totally pull you aside at night, sit sown by a balcony and watch the moon with drinks present between the two of you, as you two talk about life or anything in general while absentmindedly drifting his hand closer to hold your own. He doesn't mind anywhere, as long as he has you around and... Maybe some good booze or two.

❥︎ Izou would totally be into the Quality Time and Acts of Service for Love Language~ He still isn't that versed in expressing himself well like other lovers do, since only he knew was killing. But he's always eager to give you his attention any time of the day. He both serves you and at the same time is your lover, after all. His attention needs no payment. Your smile is all that'll do. He's starting to learn more outside of servicing you with killing, so do be patient with him~ (most are definitely from Ryouma who went advising him whenever Izou is mumbling about it).

❥︎ Just as how ferocious and bold he is with his tactics in combat as a manslayer, Izou, even with lack of actual experience in bedding a lover, he certainly knows how to make you reel over with pleasure. He'd be so overly touchy, when the heat gets to him and his eyes. He'd explore his hands all over your body, memorizing every curve and every nook and cranny of your body. He'd commit it to memory, not in the view of a manslayer studying the anatomy of his new target but rather that of a lover with an adventurous spirit.
