this was one of the last moments where i still loved stranger things. i really thought they were doing god's work with mike and will stealing glances at eachother after the macz hug. with mike leading the way through the tunnel that's transitioning from blue to yellow, escaping the tunnel vision he's had all these years by looking for the answers in the wrong person. staring intently at the light rays coming from will instead of his face like he used to, because he used to think will was beautiful because the sun was always shining on him, like in the van and hopper's cabin, but now realising the light was coming from will all along, because his powers is innate. this was one of the last times i thought they would still have a chance.
