DWTS S22 Couples (Spoilers)
The official cast announced is March 8th but of course the upcoming cast is always the worst kept secret..
I’ll post the official list but until then here’s something to hold you over..
So here’s the couple’s round-up according to PureDWTS..The gave a little blurb about the celebrity..

Couple #1: Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas
Paige is a 5’4″ tall mixed martial artist – very pretty girl and only 21. And you know Mark is an MMA fan. Paige is likely used to hard work and likely wants to win. Marky might have himself a contender here. We’ll have to wait and see.

*I’ve definitely seen her & Mark interact on Twitter sometime last year, inviting her a show. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mark might’ve hunted this one down.
Couple #2: Nyle DiMarco & Peta Murgatroyd
Nyle is 6’2″ and the winner of cycle 22 of America’s Next Top Model. He’s also completely deaf. Will be an interesting challenge for Peta, as Nyle will have to have an interpreter present at all times – but from what we hear, he’s super sweet, a VERY hard worker, and a great match for Peta

Couple #3: Jodie Sweetin & Keo Motsepe
Jodie is 5’6″ and best known as Stephanie Tanner from the ’90s sitcom Full House, and its very recent spinoff,Fuller House. I had the pleasure of meeting her at Chicago Comic Con last fall, and she had mentioned that she would want Val if she did the show – guess they weren’t able to accommodate that request? Jodie’s got a fair amount of dance experience (and the Full House fanbase) behind her, so I don’t think there’s any excuse for Keo if he can’t get her to at least the midpoint of the competition.

Couple #4: Ginger Zee & Val Chmerkovskiy
Ginger is 5’7″, and the weather anchor on Good Morning America. She just had a baby back in December. Wikipedia is also telling me she was diagnosed with narcolepsy when she was 21. Mama Spence was excited when I told her Ginger would be on (she watches GMA every morning), but was puzzled when I told her that Ginger’s partner was Val…she thought Ginger would be better-suited to Artem or Tony. As far as I know – no dance experience.

Couple #5: Antonio Brown & Sharna Burgess
Antonio is 5’10” and a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Known for an endzone dance he’s dubbed the “Billy Biggle Wiggle”, and got fined for awkwardly humping a goal post during the Steelers/Colts game last season (that’s how I knew his name). Already been a rumor for a good week now, since he started following Sharna & DancingABC on Twitter. Since then, the Steeler Nation has erupted with excitement, and Antonio has been anything but subtle about his participation on social media

Couple #6: Marla Maples & Tony Dovolani
Marla is 5’8″ and best known as the former Mrs. Donald Trump #2 – she’s also an actress and TV personality. From what I understand, she & Tony have known each other for awhile, and he’s tried to convince her MULTIPLE times to do the show – and I guess this season, she finally said yes. She recently moved back to NYC from L.A.
