At the beggining Thor isn't something that could be considered a yandere. Yeah he's a bit clingy and wants s/o to focus on him but it's all in good fun and his intentions are almost always pure. He's kind of like a puppy in that sense, give him attention and he'll be the happiest guy on Earth but if you ignore him, the poor guy will sulk miserably.
Unsurprisingly, Thor is a show off and he isn't shy when it comes to his affections. He is openly touchy feely but it's never creepy. He just loves hugs and close physical contact, it's his thing. He also makes sure to always have a few corny jokes prepared so that he can make his s/o laugh. His jokes can range from puns, dad jokes, absolute knee slappers to the most bizzare. He's creative. His presence in general is mostly welcomed by s/o because he is just so gosh darn cute and funny!
His more protective side will surface rather quickly though. At first it's simple like telling s/o to stop when there is a red light or telling them to not go out too late. Just simple things to worry about, right? Well, soon enough Thor will start poking his nose in s/o's personal life as he sees who their friends are and whatnot...
Despite his mostly cheery attitude, Thor is a force to be reckoned with and he is not afraid to show it. He is one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful, Avenger on the team and his reputation as a fierce warrior is there for a damn good reason. Thor was never someone to shy away from combat, especially if he is fighting for the people he holds dear.
He's not an overly agressive yandere he can just be really intimidating because of his height alone. There's always a lingering threat in the air when he is around, especially if he is in a sour mood and especially if his s/o is hurt in any way, shape or form.
His crush will slowly start to deepen, blossoming in to something far deeper and darker then Thor anticipated. He didn't quite understand what he was feeling. The only thing he did understand though was that he needed to be near his s/o at any and all times of the day. It just calmed him down and it stopped the butterfiles in his stomach from bursting out...
By all accounts, Thor is incredibly sweet and considerate towards his darling. He is fully aware that he can overpower his darling with his little finger but he wants to keep the agression with them to a minimum. The same can not be said when it comes to other people around him. He's a lot more agressive and even downright violent at times if he feels like s/o is being threatened. He will make it crystal clear that he does not mind in the slightest to dirty his hands when it comes to his s/o. Anyone who poses any kind of threat to his beloved shall be gone in an instant.
Thor doesn't really see these actions as bad or wrong but rather necessary. He has just been through so much and Odin knows just how much more he can take. He has lost, he has grieved, he has had enough. All he wants is one thing and that is love. Beautiful, sweet, fulfilling love.
Sadly for s/o though, they'll feel like they are forced to do certain things because they are all to aware of what Thor will do if things turn bad....
On the bright side though he will shower his s/o with affection, love and gifts! Nothing is too much for his darling and Thor will get them literally anything they want. Be it the most beautiful jewel on Midgard or the rarest flower on Asgard, Thor will be dedicated to this task. He expects his s/o to, of course, shower him with affection the minute he comes back home. He is also weak for nicknames and he uses them often.
Compared to other Marvel yanderes, Thor can be pretty tame. As long as darling is by his side and doesn't try anything funny Thor won't really hurt anyone. But, if darling just refuses to comply he will be forced to use shackles... Among other things.
