Outside of situations where masking plurality is necessary (e.g. where someone may use known memory problems as an abuse tool), you probably need to mask yourselves less than you think.

Very, very few people will notice overt plurality without being directly told about it. The few that might notice tend to be plural themselves or have plural friends, and they tend to be safe to be spotted by anyway because they're familiar with plurality and how to handle it respectfully.

The average person doesn't have plurality on their radar in the first place. Heck, they barely know what DID is, assuming that they live somewhere it's a diagnosis option, and they've never heard of anything beyond that. Most people will see overt plurality and think "oh, they're moody, or genderfluid, or just use a lot of names, or do a lot of things, or..." if they notice anything different at all.

Seriously, people are oblivious. You can introduce yourself by three different names, have wildly different preferences and modes of expression, and even toss in an accent. The most you might get in response is "are you okay?" (to which the non-disclosure answer is something like "yeah, just feeling different today" or "yeah, I'm just like this sometimes, it's normal". They'll usually let it go if you don't make a fuss about it).

In any case, people are probably not looking for signs of plurality when talking to you- they're more focused on the conversation. The odds of them noticing something different in the first place and bringing it up are low. They have other things to talk about.

Louis and Owen are eachother's personal movie watching hells.

Owen yaps constantly, making commentary on every little thing and getting emotional/angry on behalf of the characters, but he gets irritated as fuck when someone else talks, and matter how patient he is, Louis' sighs everytime Owen is a hypocrite.

Louis isn't innocent himself, he's farrr too similar to his fiance for their own good. He won't talk over anything, so he'll pause the TV to make his commentary, most often about the director's cut and how it correlates to the scene, and it drives Owen mad. The constant pauses interrupting the plot give him very conflicting feelings, because on one hand he initially thinks "are you fucking kidding me, let the movie play!" but on the other "Oh, Louis is talking, oh my goodness" [<< with highlights in his eyes and a purr in his chest]

Of course they have literally never offered solutions for it. That's just how they are. It's their favorite way to enjoy a movie.

Oh, and Legs sits between their back and forth the whole time. He's been reading subtitles and just tunes both of them out for 2 hours. He's basically the popcorn bucket the way the vamps take nibbles of blood from his wrists.

on the note of Owen and Louis taking nibbles on Legs, what does he taste like to them and has one of them ever almost killed/knocking legs unconscious from bloodloss

Louis thinks Legundo tastes refreshing, when he's taking care of himself at least. His blood is iron rich, the perfect consistency and warmth, some days it has a deep scent to it from the higher levels of cortisol. When Louis notices that, he tends to spend more time with Legs to help him slowly de-stress, and it's a nice feeling to see a change in his doctor's freshest bite mark's blood scent as he kisses his neck.

Louis never takes too much, most feedings he'll drink very slowly to savor the moment, and draw out the little he does take. He's learned to have a lot more control over the decades, and he's especially careful with his Oh so fragile doctor, plus seeing Legs bothered by significant bloodloss scares the FUCK out of him.

Owen on the other hand has almost killed Legundo many many times. Owen drinks strong and deeply, preferring much more to flood his mouth with one sip than to savor like Louis. He's tried it, at his fiancé's request, but in small amounts Legundo's blood just tastes vinegary. And when his meal isn't necessarily fighting (because he's enjoying it farrrrr too much), Owen drinks a lot in a much shorter amount of time than is technically safe for Legs.

On tense days, the doc can tell Owen off when the dizziness and heart palpations get too much for him, but if Legs is in a good mood, or Owen is being too sweet, they'll go until Owen is supporting the doctor's dead weight in his arms. He'll only unhook his fangs to avoid breaking them as Legundo faints, really.

Trustbites but it's not romantic and slow burn. They don't really pine. Owen one day at dinner just asks if he's allowed to have two boyfriends because he's been on good behaviour since leaving Oakhurst.

Owen who asks with the same eyes and voice of a child asking for a treat. Owen who stares at Louis with his big brown eyes waiting for an answer while legs chokes on his tea and right as he's calmed down and can breathe again Louis tells owen that yes he's allowed to have two boyfriends he deserves it for trying so hard to be better and Owen turns around to the doctor with those big eyes as if there was ever a question if legs would say yes or not.

Trustbites but legs and Louis don't fall in love before owen starts dating legs too maybe they never fall in love. Two men who love their wet cat of a murderous vampire boyfriend so much that of course they will share he deserves so much more love than just one of them can provide even if they don't feel the same way about each other they know how much the other means to owen so they care about each other as well.

Trustbites but they started with a schedule of when owen would sleep in who's room until owen said he wanted to sleep next to both of them so they changed the bedroom arrangements. Sometimes owen gets up first without waking the others so they end up holding each other and they don't talk about it, or the morning kiss they sometimes share but they don't need to talk about it they just smile and get up to find owen counting rice in the kitchen complaining about being alone when they all know he thought he miscounted the rice and had to check and couldn't come back to bed before he finished so he decided to wait for them to wake up.

Trustbites but sometimes it looks like two men taking care of a cat because now that he's safe and doesn't need to worry, owen likes sleeping in a warm spot and he also likes to be carried around. If legs or Louis needs a moment of space the other will spend more time with owen and when owen gets absorbed into an activity they will talk about anything and everything, sometimes touching sometimes not until owen comes back and shows them what he was working on and shoves himself in the middle and they'll both look at each other over his head and smile because while they aren't each other's they're both Owen's and that means they are something
