Everyday some uneducated person on TikTok opens their fucking mouths and goes on and on about pointless identity politics and queer discourse INSTEAD of trying to better their community in anyway. Other peoples identity’s should not fucking matter to you, unless it’s DIRECTLY harming you, or others, just shut up about it? Like we’re living in a horrifying time where trans people, ESPECIALLY TRANS WOMEN, are being directly targeted and some people are more concerned with who can identify as what? Like go take a walk, pick a flower or two, collect some rocks, literally anything but talking about shit online you, A. Don’t fucking understand and B. DOES. NOT. AFFECT. YOU! Go outside, go talk to literally any queer person, go experience community and joy and stop focusing on other peoples identity when there are things hurting your fellow queer people

The day people grasp the concept that intention ≠ Impact is the day I can rest. Just because you didn’t INTEND for something to be offensive, or alternatively, you did something for shock value but didn’t INTEND to hurt someone, it doesn’t mean that it WON’T hurt someone. There is still consequences for what you say at the end of the day, and whether you intended for something to come off a different way than it did, doesn’t change how it impacted other people.
