i hate how suicide is framed as selfish. lets deem the people struggling the most as self centered assholes for daring to be pushed to a point where death feels like their only option. you cant be serious

ive struggled with suicidal thoughts and feelings for most of my life and this line of thinking has only ever pushed me away from people. i cant be hurting the people who care about me if i dont have any. that and they cant stop me if theyre not there

and its also just so insanely backwards to put the focus on the people AROUND the suicidal person rather than them. i have no idea why people think its a good idea
