New writing project

Hey y'all, I'm trying to get more into writing again since I have some spare time now, so I thought what a better way to do so, than by starting a new project. This one is quite simple - Story Hour - I will write for an hour and see what comes out of it. Short enough for me to find a time to do it, but also not long enough to write everything I want. I will try to put up a new one at least once a week, but we will see how it goes. Fingers crossed. 🤞

Morning dew

From a dreaming world ripped awoken,

by a screaming bard snapped open,

into another great morning,

full of misery and earning.

From the warmth of my bed,

providing escape with imaginary depth,

into the cold beat reality,

where awaits nothing but nihility.

With blood shot eyes I scream into the mirror,

why another morning, why not perish hither?

With nothing left but misery,

clouding my mind with hystery,

I prepare for another day,

looking like a wounded pray.

Sluggish tho my movements are,

nothing compared to the speed of mind,

spinning like a raging bull,

I only wish for it to dull.

Images of better world,

paint my every second thought,

earning for that mellow shard,

where sunlight warms my shattered heart.

Yet through all the hope I hold,

the grey seems always cold,

no matter how much I try,

the reality hits me every time.

Darkest part I hide with smile,

because for others we have to try,

be functioning happy little fails,

while I would drown instead in ale.

Good and happy morning I wish thee,

for your day to be hopefull and free,

from the bottom of my corrupted heart,

full of anger and anguish souring my art.

Today I woke up, feeling really shit and I needed to get it out of my system. Poetry just felt right.

Idk why I'm even sharing it here...maybe it will also help someone else feel better...good luck out there.

Inktober 2023 - Day 7 (Drip) The prompt said drip…so I gave Stelle some proper drip. 😎 Little bit late on these, but I think I give up the pace and will instead focus on quality, because I like to really flesh out each concept instead of rushing through it.

One of my friend's DnD character, he keeps us alive with even in the direst of situations.

He always carries the nature's kindness as well as it's fury on it's back, protecting his friends and smiting his enemies.
