Today it’s my mom’s birthday so I’m going to spend some time with my family, but before I would like to share with you this one drawing of one of my favorite Disney characters I made back on 2013.
It was one of these drawings I did for all the people who worked on the character, but speically both of voice actors, Robbin Williams and spanish from Mexico’s one.
This is also a tribute to Robbin williams, since when passed away I was having a busy life, so I never really had the chance to say how I felt about it before.
I know I never knew him in person, so I know people will go and say this is weird…but I still miss him a lot! I miss him making new animated characters…He was such some awesome and versatile voice actor, one of the best I’ve ever seen! And one of these few artists from hollywood who would actually appreciate the gestures of affection and admiration people gave him, for what I’ve seen when other people talked to him on interviews or events. I wish I got to know him before his decease…it would have been a privilege and a joy!
But well…I know it’s difficult to met a cinema celebrity, specially for me cos I’m mexican and I have no sources to travel. Even on the internet it’s difficult to contact actress and actors! I never got to know where to contact him.
So I guess…I just would like to say I feel really glad that he made a legacy, and that I can still enjoy watching him and hearing his awesome voice, thanks to all the movies he participated in. I’m specailly fond with his animated roles, due the cool and endearing characters whose voice he played ^^
I think my favorites from him will always be Batty Koda and genie! I just have a thing for cute and funny guys with a heart of gold, hehe. Plus both of them were fatherly, so loyal and caring to his friends, crysta and aladdin respectively. Also, I love how these characters let him to make a variety of voices (one because was a genie and the other cos he could pick out radio signal) which he always loved to do! And it was always so cool when he did that! ^^
