Being a creative mum for a change... diy toddler-proof christmas tree... pretty easy if you dont count the two painful hot-glue-gun burns... little miss is pretty happy with it!

Note to self... toddlers have a vicious bite which leads to the loss of fingernails... 3 so far!

Double choc fudge rollo slice!!

Melt 250g butter with 1.5cup castor sugar. Sift 1.25cup plain flour,  a dash of baking powder and 0.75cup dark cocoa in to a bowl. Add 3 eggs and melt mix to the bowl, stir until mix falls away from bowl. Pour in to slice tray. Add Rollo chocolate (or strawberry) to top. Bake in 180degC fan force oven for 22 mins.

Kids at the show

Ok... Perth Royal show tomorrow... an annual thing I've done every year with my mum since I can remember... except this year I'm taking my 18month old. My little ball of banshee-screams/cuddles/kisses/smiles/nappies.

I'm feeling fatigued and agitated just thinking about it. I really hope she has her 'big girl pants' on and her 'volume switch' down.

Give me strength!!

Im not a bad mum if I dont let my underage child drive unsupervised... but an hour of screaming and wanting to 'drive' drove me nuts... ignoring and time-out didn't work this time...

Wheatbix Munchies!!

125g butter 1cup sugar 1cup crushed wheatbix 1 1/2cup self raising flour 1 egg 1/4cup milk

Cream butter and sugar, add egg flour and wheatbux, roll in to balls, coat in more crushed wheatbix, cook for 15mins @ 180 degC.

Yum!!
