topic is body worship. i think solas would WANT to be the one worshipping. hand in hand with a larger atonement is making it up to lavellan, and part of that is expressing how much he adores every inch of her. ensuring she never doubts his love, after he failed and hurt her. right. but god thinking about solas being the subject of worship from lavellan. man who never wanted a body, who i imagine always viewed it practically -- a form that he took in order to accomplish specific goals. and spent years drowning in the blood he drew. saint of a woman who loved him despite and through it all kisses his fingertips and tastes no blood, traces battle scars with gentle hands. man who doesn't fully believe he deserves her love experiencing it directly, openly. touches and caresses and plain, soft words. he'd cry through it is what I'm saying.
