My MC Mona from Love and Deepspace

I want to start commissions again. I haven't tried this since I left DA after it got overrun with AI. So, to get comfortable with doing commissions again, I'm opening them up starting with my favorite thing to draw: really detailed eyes (as seen above)!

My Style

I refer to myself as a chameleon artist. I don't necessarily have a set style, though it tends to lean towards an anime feel. My art tends to adapt to fit the vibe of the character or my mood of the day. The picture below is an example of more eyes with an entirely different style.

What I Offer

I'm offering high-definition eye portrait commissions for a base pay of $25. Each piece is a unique work that channels a different vibe. If you have a certain expression you'd like for me to capture (i.e. happy, sad, angry), please send a reference or just describe it. Also feel free to specify if there are any specific shapes for the irises you'd like. When you request a commission, send reference art of the character you want an eye portrait for, and let me know customizations such as one eye zoomed in, both eyes, and color variations if you want the eyes to have different colors than they normally do. Depending on complexity, pricing may be adjusted based on customization requests.

Please note that I am typically busy Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday, so keep this in mind when requesting commissions. I am typically able to finish your request within 7-10 days from when I accept and discuss the plans for your art piece. I work on a first come/first serve basis, so if you request a piece while I am already working, I will let you know when I complete my current request if you are still interested later, but feel free to leave me the information of what you will like and I will get back to you when I finish helping the first customer. Also note that when I say first come/first serve, I refer to whoever has officially agreed on and paid their 50% starting fee. If you have not yet paid the starting fee, I do not start on your request.

50% Starting Fee

When you are ready for me to work on your request, a 50% starting fee is required to account for my work I put into your request. This is a common courtesy to respect my time as an artist that I cannot get back when I start your work and you end up canceling. **Please make sure you would like this piece of art before requesting my services. This is a non-refundable fee!!!**

Requesting Progress

At any point in time, you are allowed to request progress from me to see how it looks. I will send you a signed image with "WIP" on it. If you have any details you want to add to it, depending on how far into designing I am, they may be added with no charge if they are minor changes (iris shape, base design). However, if you decide you want to change the eye color after I have already begun to add detailing (blending, shading, etc.) there will be an added fee. If the artwork is completed, you are not allowed to request changes and will be required to pay for another piece with the desired changes as I will have to restart the process.

Refusal of Service

I reserve the right, for any reason, to refuse a request. If you have paid me and I refuse your request, in this instance, you will be refunded UNLESS you have sent payment before I officially agreed to fufill your request OR you have violated terms while I was working on your piece. Certain instances I will refuse your request is if:

You are rude during request or any time after I have started.

You steal or manipulate my art whether finished or unfinished (this includes running it through AI and/or reposting it with my signature removed) OR I find you have a habit of doing this to other artists.

You are racist, sexist, homophobic, or just a hateful person in general or use slurs when speaking to me.

If you request anything that depicts hateful conduct.

Rights to Artworks

Lastly, the style and effort put into each work is all my own. I reserve the right as the creator of each work to sign them. This is non-negotiable, so if you have a problem with me signing my art, do not expect me to accept your request. And in the event I finish your art and you don't pay in full for the finished work, I reserve the right to use it how I see fit (for art examples/portfolio use or possible sale to another buyer) regardless of if it was commissioned fan art or an OC.

History

During the great Chronirift Catastrophe, Akiko was separated from her parents and rescued by Deepspace Hunters after being found under the debris left behind by Wanderers. During the attack, the Aether Core was embedded into her heart. When the Hunters found her, her parents were later declared deceased. Now an orphan child and ill from the Aether Core, Akiko was sent to EVER to receive treatment along with the other children who had been infected by Wanderers. EVER became interested in studying the effects of the Aether Core, so they kept Akiko along with other subjects and conducted experiments for their own gain in attempts to see how to harness the power. Each child was confined to their own rooms. Occasionally, Akiko would pass by a boy who was also brought to the lab. Later on, this boy would sneak out of his room to explore the isolated laboratory and made friends with her. This child, then named Xia Yizhou, later became her roommate growing up and older brother figure once Josephine took them in, fostering them once the government learned EVER was conducting unauthorized tests on the children there. Because this was a big deal and the Josephine wanted to give the children a new, normal life, she changed their names to Mona Tierney and Caleb Xia to wipe all connections of their names to EVER's experiments. About 3 years apart, Caleb and Mona grew up together, Caleb going off to the DAA when he turned 18, and 3 years later, Mona going to Hunter's Academy and becoming an official Deepspace Hunter at 21. After this, the two went seperate ways, Caleb moving to Skyhaven and Mona remaining in Linkon City.

**Note:**

-Mona was 5 when Josephine took them to her house, and she later on met Zayne within the following weeks on his walk home from school. She is approximately 5 years younger than Zayne.

Evol

Mona was originally born with the Evol Resonance, which allows her to borrow and/or enhance the powers of another's Evol. However, when overcharged or corrupted by the Aether Core, Mona's Resonance becomes Evol Siphon, which allows her to not simply lend an Evol ability of another but siphon their energy and use it for herself without achieving true Resonance. This is directly related to the effects of the Aether Core and not an original or planned ability within having a Resonance Evol. This may also occur if she pushes her Evol too far and loses control of it. For this reason, Mona is required to carry Evol stabilizer injections with her at all times.

Here's MY canon heights because the heights on the official records are insane and don't even visually come close except for Caleb and Sylus.

Xavier: 5.7

Rafayel: 5.10

Zayne: 6ft

Sylus: 6.2

Caleb: 6.1

Xavier and Raf's might go up an inch or two if we assume MC is between 5.4 and 5.6, but I would assume 5.4 is the tallest MC would get if they're going by China's demographic and average female height while scaling up men to be the preferred fantasy heights.

Shhh. I know I'm late to the party. I just never saw their actual heights or paid attention to them until today.

I can't believe it. People were so disgusting that they managed to bully thousands of people into canceling Valko. They had been working on him for years. And unlike the Sonic Movie, he will not return with a rework.

Its upsetting as a creator because I dont think I would be okay if I worked on something for years just for everyone to bully me and send threats to my team and whoever supports me.

To the people who participated in this, you're the reason why people hate this fandom. If you wanted a game so bad that didn't have what the devs wanted to add, you should go to school and learn how to make your own fucking game.

I'm gonna say this one time because the lads community is actively ruining the game for me and I'm not even hyped about Valko. He's just there and I'm going to check it out because it's part of the content.

First of all, I'm autistic and struggle with major change, so any time a new LI is introduced, I struggle to warm up to them. Second, if people flock around one thing and hype it too much, my brain has a strange reaction where it starts to dislike or shy away from the thing because it gets mentioned too much or it's all I see and I don't get a chance to warm myself up to it before getting thrown into the content by inevitable spoilers and such. But when I logged on to check out my page for art I uploaded yesterday, the first thing I see is people coming out of left field with theories about Valko r*ping MC and THE FUCKING GAME ISN'T EVEN OUT YET. Like, how the hell a 2 minute trailer with mostly combat told y'all all that? What is this projection? We literally don't know anything yet and y'all over here swearing on this shit and shoving down the throats of people who are excited for Valko as well as people who are just passing by and viewing a post from a fellow LADS creator.

Can we please learn to stfu if we know nothing about unreleased storylines and stop inserting our trauma-dump lore into spaces that are literally just trying to anticipate a new character?

I finished my Caleb (vent) art last night around 11pm

I'll probably try to post more Caleb art in general, maybe.

I want to say it looks good, but I really don't know how to feel. It's almost as if I don't actually have a style and I just do different things. All of my art looks different from one day to the next. So we're still experimenting, I guess.

How it feels— Paranoia, mania, anxiety, intrusive thoughts.

I'm experimenting with art to express these feelings. I used to be told that it was wrong and endorsed mental illness to make vent art. Now I make art to get the things out that I can't describe. Better to get it out on a paper than on yourself.
