I'm italian and there's something that people defending this shit don't fucking understand.

they think the “Roman salute” is something unrelated to nazis or fascists but the “Roman Salute” IS the fascist salute. It's not a different concept, it's the same thing!! It's not "good" because it doesn't have the word "nazi" in it, It's the same shit.

And to people saying "He is throwing out his heart to the crowd" tell me if YOU would do it at a 45 degree angle with your thumb tucked in and your fingers closed together. Personally, a throwing motion in my imagination has your palm completely open and your fingers spaced out

Regardless, This is what propaganda is, They do bad thing and then they say "no it good actually" and the population goes "Ok then it's all good" it's not all good, They're making you think it is. It sucks

Dancing under the glow of LED strip lights with my best friend at 3am. The pair of shoes my godmother gave me with the cute little bows that I wear for good luck. My girlfriend laughing so hard at my joke she had tears on her face. The hours and hours I’ve spent scribbling in the margins of books. Buying the ugliest sweater at goodwill because it made all my friends grin. Listening to that song on repeat while I swayed through the halls at school, smiling in response to all the weird looks people sent me.

I’m never going to just be the bad parts. I refuse to be boiled down to just the bad parts. Every moment of my life has affected me in some way, more than even just the parts I remember, and there has been beauty contained within and surrounding all the grotesquities.

i started the marvelous mrs maisel because a while ago my twitter timeline was full of this scene where this man says to this woman “you are more important than god” so i started it thinking that is would be a nice romcom where you this man and that woman would came together at one point. but, unfortunately, i had 0 idea that these two people had only 1 hour and 30 minutes of screentime throughout the whole series that has 5 seasons, 44 episodes and where every episode is 45+ minutes long…. they had so much chemistry together it drove me nuts, they needed to be together and i was there hoping that they would be the endgame

when i finished the whole series i couldn’t believe how it ended between the two of them that i had to take a 45 minute walk and ate chinese food to calm myself

Oh my gosh. I just found this website that walks you though creating a believable society. It breaks each facet down into individual questions and makes it so simple! It seems really helpful for worldbuilding!
