How’s it feel to be the funniest person on tumblr?
I will always take the cat's side. "she's drooling on me" you're so lucky "he always wants to be petted" then pet him "he's mad I won't let him on my desk" make room on your desk for him. I am your cat's defense lawyer and the cat is always innocent on the grounds of them being A Little Kitty Cat.

Synastry Observations 10
Accuracy is influenced by ENTIRE chart.
Sun opposite Saturn
The negative: Sun person may find Saturn person’s attitude to be limiting and negative. Sun may think Saturn is at times controlling.
Saturn may find Sun to be arrogant as Sun may refuse to listen to Saturn on certain things.
This can cause the two feel stuck in the connection. They can’t progress in life without clashing with one another (unless specific circumstances and conversations are ignored). This aspect doesn’t usually become a problem until much later into the connection.
The positive: The two can learn from one another. If accompanied by positive synastry, this can indicate small bumps in the road. If the relationship is professional or not very close, this aspect may rarely be felt.
Sun conjunct Pluto
If negative, Sun may feel Pluto is forceful trying to control and change them. This can lead to clashing and power struggles.
If positive, Pluto can be a trigger for Sun to evolve.
Usually, this synastry can indicate a difference in power and status between two people. One may have the power to change the other’s life in some way.
Mars trine Venus
This indicates attraction - physical and/or personality. You may simply mesh well. You easily get into the flow with one another. A lot is simply understood btw you two.
The potential negative Venus person may feel Mars is sometimes insensitive, impatient or impulsive. Mars can learn to be more gentle through Venus. And Venus can feel motivated to take initiative in the connection.
Sun sextile Neptune
Sun may admire Neptune - depending on the entire chart, this can be admiration for Neptune’s sensitivity, creativity or intrigued by Neptune’s mystery.
This is usually a subtle and soft synastry energy. There can often be a quiet harmony in one another’s presence.
Venus trine Venus
You enjoy one another’s presence. You may have a lot in common. You may value similar things. You may easily understand one another’s needs to feel loved and supported.
This is very positive synastry as it indicates mutual consideration and like (or love) for one another. It can help overcome problems encountered in the connection.
Venus square Jupiter
This can indicate a different in culture, background or mindset. As a result, you may think differently when it comes to matters such as finances or religious views.
At worst, this can show an insincere connection. One may have ulterior motives. One can simply desire some form of pleasure - ex: relationship out of boredom, relationship for physical intimacy, knowing you don’t want a future with this person.
Venus trine Uranus
Venus aspect Uranus can indicate the meeting was significant. You may have had a strong reaction to other other - instant attraction. The person can stay at the back of your mind after meeting. Most likely Venus is intrigued but it could be Uranus too.
Venus square Neptune
This can be difficult. It can indicate a disappointing or insincere connection. Ex: No mutual attraction, one acts as a muse to the other, one loses a bit of interest after getting the other.
Neptune could feel Venus lacks interest in their creative pursuits.
Venus could find Neptune’s behaviour confusing at some point.
Jupiter trine Pluto
You can be very good friends. You may share a lot of memorable adventures and experiences. You contribute to one another’s growth and life path.
Pluto can benefit from Jupiter’s optimism and world view. It can allow Pluto the freedom and/or grounding to evolve.
Saturn sextile Mercury
This can make you two good at problem solving. Saturn can ground Mercury’s ideas but if negative Saturn can repress Mercury’s ideas.
Mercury may be able to verbalize Saturn’s situations which can make Saturn feel understood.
Neptune Opposite Jupiter
Be cautious of making promises you can’t keep. It can be fun to imagine a future together but there can be something fleeting about your time together. The entire chart can influence this.
🕯️ Pushya Nakshatra: a guiding light in the darkness
Welcome to The Star of Nourishment!
🕯️ This nakshatra spans between 03°20' and 16°40' Cancer. And this is considered to be one of the auspicious nakshatras and is considered an excellent nakshatra for initiating important ceremonies and spiritual rituals.
Ruled by Saturn and Jupiter, the teacher (Guru) of the gods, this nakshatra holds a mature, responsible mentor energy. This reflects in the natives with their major planets like Sun, Moon and ascendant in this nakshatra.
📜 Jupiter here gives the natives a love of knowledge, ethics and guidance. They have a Guru (mentor)-like qualities; a desire to counsel, guide, and uplift others with wisdom.
I’ve noticed that many with major planets in Pushya often seem mature beyond their years. They carry a quiet authority that draws others in, as if people instinctively feel, “They’ll know what to do.”
📜 As someone with Jupiter in Pushya in my 10th house, I’ve seen this firsthand. People naturally come to me seeking advice or clarity, often assuming I know more, even when I’m still learning too.
It’s one of Pushya’s silent gifts: wisdom that feels like home to others.
🕯️ Pushya natives have a natural nourishing instinct. They derive fulfillment from nurturing and have a protective instinct. Symbolized by Cow's Udder (highly auspicious in Vedic culture), this represents their innate urge to provide comfort, support, and sustenance, material or emotional, to those around them.
They derive genuine fulfillment from nurturing, whether it’s comforting a friend, feeding those in need, or simply being the person others lean on during storms.
✨ Goddess Sita, born under Pushya Nakshatra, beautifully embodied its essence: – Devotion and gentle strength. – Patient caregiving without expectation. – An inner resilience to uphold her dignity when pushed beyond limits.
🕯️ Thus, they also have an inner dignity and will draw the line when their principles are violated.
📜 They naturally gravitate towards faith and higher learning, often feeling guided by an inner teacher (some may actively seek out mentors).
Jupiter and Saturn, both planets tied to dharma (responsibility and purpose), find a unique synergy in Pushya. Trust me, as a fellow Pushya with Jupiter here: responsibilities find us, no matter where we hide.
📜 Especially if Pushya Jupiter or Saturn is in the 4th house or aspecting it, you may find yourself carrying home and family responsibilities from a young age. – Taking care of siblings or parents. – Being the emotional anchor of the family. – Managing practical burdens quietly while everyone else leans on you.
Apart from this though, Saturn's influence here provides dutifulness, a strong work ethic, discipline, responsibility, perseverance and a willingness to shoulder burdens for the greater good.
📜 Jupiter's expansive wisdom + Saturn's practical discipline = holds deep respect for traditions, spiritual laws, and timeless principles.
🕯️ They naturally weave idealism with realism, believing in upholding family values, societal duties, and moral codes with quiet seriousness and devotion.
They take their responsibilities seriously and will show up with diligence and integrity, no matter what. Hard work never scares them, and they don't prefer relying on shortcuts.
📜 Having a philosophical depth to them, they are lifelong students and display curiosity about life's deeper meaning as well as a respect for classical knowledge. Maybe drawn to ancient scriptures, rituals or cultural practices that give life a sense of sacred order. Although, sometimes they can become somewhat conservative or restrictive in values.
📜 But this gives them an inner moral compass so strong that others admire it. They are the 'voice of reason,' expressing themselves in a measured, thoughtful way; or the wise advisor in their circles, as mentioned.
🕯️ These natives exude a natural kindness, a kind of warmth that makes others feel cared for and safe in their presence. They intuitively sense others' needs and pains. There is an inclusive, friendly vibe to them.
They often do well in community settings where cooperation, teamwork and an accommodating attitude are encouraged. They arepopular in groups as they are reliable and trustworthy. People may not always say it, but they hold respect for the native's integrity at heart.
📜 They often become emotional anchors among friends and family. The one who listens and supports everyone. They love to give; feeding people with home-cooked meals, offering guidance, etc.
They find genuine joy from helping others and may be into charity, hospitality, or even medical fields.
🕯️ They make excellent communicators or teachers as they have the ability to convey ideas with clarity and gentle authority. They are calm and composed, having patient temperaments; these people are not easily ruffled!
📜 The challenges include that they can get too self-sacrificing at times, taking on problems at the cost of their well-being. They also have a tendency to put themselves last. This leads to burnout or suppressed resentment. Therefore, healthy boundaries, you tending to your own needs is very important.
🕯️Their compassion, sometimes, may be taken advantage of or fail to reciprocate. Also their deep sense of duty may turn into rigidity or pride. They have strong convictions about what is right and they expect others to uphold the same standards. When others don't, these natives may become silently judgmental or disappointed.
This isn’t just theory; it’s lived experience.
🕯️ As a Pushya native, I’ve held unshakeable convictions about what is right, and I physically cannot stay silent when witnessing injustice. Over the years, I’ve watched friendships slip away because I chose to speak up. Once, my closest friends were tearing down another girl’s character (someone I wasn’t even close to), and I couldn’t stay quiet. I told them it was wrong, and just like that, a 3-year friendship ended.
For a while, I wished I could just stay quiet and “go with the flow.” But now I see: ✨ This is a strength this nakshatra gives us. ✨ The refusal to witness or participate in injustice is part of Pushya’s sacred duty. ✨ It’s not easy, but it’s righteous.
📜 According to some texts and Goddess Sita's own story, women especially, as per lore, might encounter unjust suspicion or accusations despite being righteous and faithful.
But with self awareness (introspection and growth), these people are more than capable of overcoming these pitfalls.
They eventually learn the art of self-compassion, realizing that nourishing themselves is as important as nourishing others.
A cow can only give rich milk if she is well-fed.
Pushya natives flourish when they learn to fill their own cup first.
💛🕯️

Here to report that My Lady Jane is just…the best kind of fanfiction that you could make into a TV show.
It’s a shifter AU, arranged marriage, friends-to-lovers, 100K slow burn, canon major character death fix-it fic but with a big budget and a soundtrack and excellent costumes where everyone committed to the bit.
I do recommend.

Emerald Fennell's thought process is literally what if down was up and up was down? What if reverse bigotry actually exists? What if middle-class folk want to violently dispose of the aristocratic old-monied class? What if a Brown man was hostile towards a White man? Can you imagine, oh the horror 🤡
She could have just done us a solid and just have a cast of all white actors so that the film will just have good ole' white-on-white violence. But no, she just had to cast Shazad Latif and Hong Chau, two actors who deserve better than White creatives.
In hindsight we should have collectively asked Emerald Fennell to go out and touch grass when we saw this teaser.
We also need to throw stones at the film's casting director as well for her bitchy response to the criticism:
Source: avclub
I also feel like I want to give the casting director the benefit of doubt becos I'm not sure how much power she really had over the casting decisions in this movie compared to the director and the producers. And I just found out that Cochrane is also a woman of colour, so I feel icky at the possibility that Emerald Fennell, a white woman, is leaving her non-white employee to address the criticism over the casting of Heathcliff.

People in states with abortion bans are twice as likely to die during pregnancy
The risk is greatest among Black women in states with abortion bans, according to a new report.
The Gender Equity Policy Institute, a nonprofit research and policy organization that put out the report, found that since the overturn of Roe v. Wade, pregnancy-related death rates have declined in states that protect abortion access and increased in Texas, the largest state to ban the procedure. The report found that pregnant Black women, White women and Latinas are all at greater risk of death in states with abortion bans than they would be if they lived in states that protect abortion rights.
