what’s wild is that Amazon series Undone is amazing. it’s probably one of my favorite shows ever. they just shot themselves in the foot with that incessant advertising. Tumblr is the most spiteful demographic ever. you can’t advertise to us like that. 😔

anyway, watch Undone if you want a series that explores mental illness with a disabled (Deaf) Mestiza protagonist who actually cares about her heritage and the affects that colonialism has had on her ancestry and her sense of personhood.

Cyclogender

Can I just propose that we have a way to distinguish between the two meanings of cyclogender:

For example, those whose gender is influenced by their menstrual cycle could identify as cyclogender-m, whereas those whose gender is influenced by their bipolar cycles could be referred to as cyclogender-b.

What do y’all think of this? If anyone else has some other ideas let me know. I just don’t want people to be confused when I say that I’m cyclogender since it has two meanings.
