My 80 year old patient: I haven’t taken the meth since my bout of pneumonia in January. Me: Meth? Patient: Yeah, the doctors told me to stay off of it. Me: Uh-huh. Patients Wife: He means methotrexate. Patient: She knows what I mean!!!

15.10.2017 .. cycled back from church this morning and made a pot of coffee in preparation for writing my first assignment of the term on student’s experiences of religious education. outside there’s no doubt that the trees in college have taken on their autumn colours, it may still be warm enough to have all my windows open but autumn’s there in the air.

one of my patients today was so scared that she was having a heart attack that she was crying :( we couldn't find anything that could contribute to her chest pain on work up so we admitted her for more testing, I hope she feels better soon
