Daisy’s shoulders straightened at the entrance of the other Inhuman, a response she couldn’t really help given Medusa’s status. It was intimidating when she’d first met the other Inhumans (and subsequently learned that she was technically classified as a Nuhuman to them), but it was nice to see that Medusalith cared enough to come check in on her. She hadn’t felt this sense of a community with her people since Afterlife. “She’s in custody, yes. Although I’m not counting on it lasting. I’m sure she already has an excuse for why she needs to be released before the trial.” Her lips pressed together into a tight frown at the next question, but she nodded her head anyways. Maybe she wasn’t exactly well. She could barely move her shoulder, and that wasn’t even beginning to touch on her mental state, but she didn’t trust anyone else to explain any of this to Medusa. “I can do it.”

“Are you okay?” It seems prudent to ask the question plainly, words direct and to the point. There’s a softness that Medusa allows to enter her tone. She does genuinely care about the health and safety of the Inhumans and Nuhumans alike. “Please, go on.”

“You are correct. If there were, you would have heard.” The Inhumans are not always peaceful people. They would have retaliated and been deliberate with their recourse. Scarlet strands weave together before straightening, the mass moving with Medusa when she nods her head. “Normally, the Inhumans would not get involved unless need be. We still aren’t sure we wish to help, but a meeting seemed prudent. Wanda did come appeal to Black Bolt. She advised as to what happened.”

An orange portal leading to the Sanctum dissipated behind Stephen as he turned around and faced the person in front of him. “This better be important. I don’t know if you’ve heard, but reality is still falling apart.” The bags that had plagued his eyes for the past few months were gone now, which was an improvement, but things were far from fine.

It’s hard to not have heard, and that’s coming from a party as removed as the Inhumans. Medusa — in all of her glory — stands raised on the street as her hair lowers her to the concrete. “Everything I attend to is important. Such is the life of a Queen. The dissolution of reality falls near the top of the list.”

Scarlet strands move on their own accord behind the Queen as Medusa enters the room. Her gaze falls onto the bandage on Daisy’s shoulder. The Nuhuman’s injury is duly noted. It’s a surprise that Medusa herself as come, but the matter seems urgent. “Please, do tell me that she’s in custody at the very least.” Other than Daisy’s injury, Maria Hill has not harmed the Inhumans. They have no horse in this race or reason to get involved. Her presence is not one to be publicized. “I will need a full recap of what happened from one whose judgement has been proven sound. Are you well enough to do so?”
