And now a little snippet for under the cut:

Halandil Fang walks slowly up the hill. He lives where most of Dol-Makjar’s poets and performers, actors and jesters, in truth, everyone who makes song and mirth live – the Rookery, sitting on the eastern edge of Dol Makjar, a patchwork neighborhood of towers, sky-bridges, aviaries, and quirky, connected little conical roof features. The common bird here is the magpie, flying about hither and yon, and a common pastimes of the residents is to sit on their roofs and look down upon the stage in the neighborhood academy. This place has taught untold generations of storytellers, singers, and bards of all kind. It’s where Hal grew up; his home and his heart. He began his life’s work on these very streets.

His house – once, his father’s house – is nestled at the top of the hill, clustered together with many others. It is comfortable, modest, neither grandiose nor cramped, and built to host many guests. A large greeting room at the front of the house sees much use as both family and friends pass through, and bedrooms fill the house. Upstairs, in a back room, Hal’s office is littered with papers and scrolls. Walls of books sit close together, musical instruements perch on stands, and scattered about on multiple desks are songs in mid-composition. Everything in that room is a work in progress, and in many ways Hal himself feels incomplete.

It's not lost on me that Dol-makjar is a historically orcish city and yet has a governing body consisting entirely of humans. How the hallowed round, the very site of so much orcish suffering, is mearly on a lease to Hal from the sundered houses, trying to corrupt and shape the stories they share there.

I have finally after 30 hours of drawing over like 3 weeks finished drawing Thaisha Lloy :D!!

I’m really happy with how it turned out and I actually really enjoyed drawing her

I think saw him crying in the rain. I think he's upset about Pincushion. Pin was there btw. Or maybe he wasn't crying, it's hard to tell, he has sad eyes.
