I’ve been feeling really confident lately… not enough to “truly” post about myself (besides what my brain deems ‘worthy’) but enough to be proud. Proud that in the last 8 months I’ve managed to lose 50 lbs, all on my own, with no outside help or much support. Of course, my wife has been with me every step of the way, and she got the brunt of the burden of supporting me, but no one else I think could take on the job as strong or as well as she has. But besides her, it’s been a lonely road. A road of which I cannot talk about, as it is seen as trashy, selfish, bragging and (unintentionally) preying on the insecurities of my fellow women. It’s been really, really, really hard, but I did it. And damn am I proud. 50 down, 50 to go. Bitch, I’ve got this. And to anyone, ANYONE, trying to lose weight, be it man, woman, or other, please know that if this loser who can barely stay on topic in a conversation can do it, you can too. And I am here, every fucking step of the way.
