tutorial for how to update default eyes to be enabled for infants

you can use this same method to enable makeup & skin details** for infants, too.

the code i’m placing in the value box is 000030FE which was found by @fivesims (thank you, ur a GENIUS), & this code will enable something to be applied to all ages, infants included.

if you want to take eyes/makeup/a skin detail and enable it for just infants & toddlers, but keep it unavailable for all other life stages, the code you would need to use is 00003082 which was also found by fivesims!

if you want to make it so that something is available for only infants, i’m pretty sure the code you should put in is 00003080 (which i was proud of myself for being able to find myself haha)

** (i wouldn’t be surprised if it worked for other things that don’t have meshes, too—maybe eyebrows, teeth, etc, especially if they’re already able to be applied to toddlers—but i haven’t tested that for myself, so i can’t confirm or deny.)

Studio updates with Windows & Doors batch fix (Windows, Mac)

Hi all, Studio is updating today with a batch fix for custom windows and doors that were broken by the Star Wars patch. The Windows and Mac versions both have this new feature.

For creators, each version also has a feature that allows you to fix the cutout on any new creation by clicking Tools/Modding/Generate Model Cutout From Wall Cutout Texture after you’re finished importing your new wall cutout texture.

Notes:

When the batch fix runs, it will create a backup folder containing the original version of all files it fixed. Please do not discard this file until you verify that your windows and doors are functioning properly in the game. If you encounter a window or door that did not fix properly, please send us the original and the broken batch-fixed versions so the problem can be investigated.

The game has a small glitch with some round windows that causes a subtle line to appear at the edge of such windows when no wallpaper is on the wall in which the window is placed and the wall is facing a certain direction. EA windows do this too (see pic below), so this is not a problem with the batch fixer, it’s a game issue. You will not notice this line once wallpaper is applied to the wall.

Running the batch fix on a window or door will cause a new resource to appear in the Warehouse view of that file. This resource records the batch fix version that was applied to the file. If you add new broken windows or doors to the same folder in which this file is placed and run the batch fix again, this resource allows Studio to skip over this file instead of fixing it again.

This batch fix took quite awhile to complete because of the immense variety of doors and windows created by our community. Andrew deserves kudos for sticking with this project even when, at times, it seemed impossible to complete.

The bright sun shining in your face was what woke you up from your slumber. You yawned and stretched loudly feeling refreshed. You were about to get up when you felt two, strong arms pull you back into them. You giggled happily in the arms of the man.You placed both your arms around his neck and looked into his ocean blue eyes. “Good morning, Daryl.”

“Mornin’, sunshine.” Daryl said while pulling you in to place a chaste kiss to your lips. “Where do ya think ur headin’ to?”

“Well I was going to get dressed, but I could just stay in bed with you all day.” You giggled while curling up into his embrace.

“How’d I get ta be so lucky ta find a girl like ya?” Daryl asked while looking into your (y/e/c) eyes. He looked at you as if you were his whole world.

“I’m the lucky one, Daryl.” You whispered while grabbing both sides of his face to pull him into a long, passionate kiss. When you pulled away from him you saw a bruised and beaten face. Your hands were covered in his blood. “Daryl?” Then, you heard someone clear their throat. You looked down at the end of the bed and saw Dean. You jumped and sat up in bed, in shock at his state. He was pale with a very large laceration from his lower abdomen to his rib cage and blood was still spilling out of this. “Dean?”

It wasn't police training, it wasn't childhood boy scouts, it certainly wasn't hope that had allowed Rick Grimes to live this long. He was starting to believe there was something different about him, something down in his gut that made him survive. Something, made him better than those who had come and fallen before him. Something he could see in his son, growing every day. Maybe he was becoming prideful, it was hard to tell. But he knew the people around him had it too, even Carol, who had once seemed useless was starting to really show something stronger. Everyone was. They weren't just surviving, they were living. They had a system to everything now, a way to truly live this new terrain. The group was becoming a well oiled machine. Sure, the farm had been easier but that had been a pipe dream; living through this life could never be as simple as Hershel had hoped. It wasn't the reality that Rick was coming to accept.

“Rick, yer' gonna' spill it,” said Daryl to his left, he was kneeling one car over, a siphon tube half hanging out of his mouth and his left hand thrusting a dirty red gas can in Rick's direction.

Rick's mind came back into focus as he saw the jug he was siphoning gas into was nearly at the brim.

“Yeah,” Rick muttered and quickly grabbed the offered gas can. He slid the tube into the new can and began capping the other as he looked up again.

Past Daryl's head he could see the others standing in the abandoned car lot. They had gotten lucky finding the place, the dealership was small but still a few dozen cars that hadn't been siphoned yet was like finding a gold mind. He glanced behind him to see Carl standing watch at his back and smiled slightly, it was unlikely they would be run up on, but Carl stood firm with his gun at the ready and his eyes scanning along the small road.
