Grammar’s time!
This post is going to be quite short and I hope you will be able to learn it perfectly ♥ I’m gonna to show you possessive pronouns. So let’s get start it!
Hi everyone! I promised that I will give you new theory material, but before - I want to put one polish song on with translation of the first tranza and of the refrain (I did my best!). I hope it will help you with pronunciation and that you will know much more words than earlier ♥
So click ‘play’ and look below!
Wow! You look great!
Hi everyone! I’m going to show you today how you can describe someone’s appearance! So let’s start it! ♥
First of all you need to know necessary vocabulary connected with it. So:
Mieszkam w Polsce
Today I have only one thing for you: koniugację czasownika ,,mieszkać" w czasie teraźniejszym, what mean verb (exactly: live) conjugation in present.
So look below:
Kto to jest?
Hello again! Today I am going to teach you...:
Kto to? (Who is he/she?), Co to? (What is it?)
...to give you a vocabulary, an exercise and recall polish pronunciation.
Polish song
What do you think polish song are good or not? Have you ever heard one of them?
If you learn one language songs are very helpful. You can improve your language skills and you have double fun if you can listen great song and know more and more at the same time!
Introduce yourself!
Hi again! Today I'm going to show you how you say about yourself in polish + small dose of grammar. Take a look!
Food
Today I will show you vocabulary, grammar and verb conjugation (jeść). Have you ever wonder what is ,,milk" in polish? Or maybe you know it? If you didn't: You'll learn new polish words in this post and much more. Come in!
New verb: ,,Iść"
When you learn polish verbs you have to remember his variety, so I show you only one verb in this post.
What are your langulage abilities?
Today I am going to show you one site that can help you with learning every language.
Verb
What can we say ,,He does/make?"
Persona
Did I write it earlier? I mean ,,Ja, Ty, On..." in seperated, special post.
If yes it isn't any reason to not write it again, you need to know them as good as you can!
If not, focus on! It is easy enough but it's important too after all.
Cases
Today I show you variety of cases and my nouns will be...
Animals in Poland!
What you can meet when you are in forest in Poland?
I saw some foxes, hares, but it isn't all (and it isn't nothink special, I mean nothink suggesting Poland). There are boars too (it's weird, couse so many people saw it so many time here, and i never did...), deers, roe deers (they very often show themselves), wolves, aurochs (but not in every forest in Poland), bears etc.
I found it recently:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Guj_BXTQlnY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfKnWuB4ZfQ
I have got one more think:
The polish names of these animals!
fox - lis foxes - lisy
hare - zając hares - zające
boar - dzik boars - dziki
deer - jeleń deers - jelenie
roe deer - sarna roe deers - sarny
wolf - wilk wolves - wilki
aurochs - żubr - żubry
Every of this name is in the first case (mianownik)
Have a nice day! ♥
Holiday
I thought you could want to say where you are when holiday last. Using polish of course. ☺
So I show you one way you can do it!
There are some propositions of spending your holiday here:
If you were by the sea, you can say:
,,Byłem nad morzem" (boy version)
,,Byłam nad morzem"(girl version)
in the mountains:
,,Byłem w górach"
,,Byłam w górach"
in the countryside
,,Byłem na wsi"
,,Byłam na wsi"
You probably saw that ,,Byłem" and ,,Byłam" is repeated many times. It means 'I was'. Further I show you how we say he was,you were...
If you want to say: ,,Where you were on holiday" you can say: ,,Gdzie byłeś na wakacjach?" (if you ask boy) or ,,Gdzie byłaś na wakacjach?" (and this is used when you ask girl).
- Gdzie byłeś na wakacjach?
- Byłem w górach.
- Gdzie byłaś na wakacjach?
- Byłam na wsi.
I hope you can translate it on your own.
Now I show you ,,to be" in past for some personas: ♥
Ja byłem (boy) / byłam (girl) - I was
Ty byłeś (boy) / byłaś (girl) - You were
On był - He was
Ona była - She was
Ono było - It was
My byliśmy - We were
Wy byliście - You were (plural)
Oni byli - They were
So if you know all of above, you can ask: ,,Gdzie byliście?" (Where were you?) too. So practise or read some examples:
Gdzie byliście? Byliśmy nad morzem.
Gdzie oni byli? Oni byli w górach.
Gdzie byłeś? Byłem na wsi.
Gdzie ona była? Nie wiem.*
* Nie wiem means I don't know
* Polish And you? is A ty?
Remember! You can't say to girl: ,,Gdzie byłeś?" and to boy ,,Gdzie byłaś?"!!!!
Numbers in polish language! ♥
You have reached up to the numbers!
They don't look like their equivalents, but after practising you should can to cope with it. So let's starting!
Learning and learning everywhere at my site (when I get so close to study like these days? 0_o) So I thought I will show you polish song for children and if you try sing it you practise your reading and relax in the same time!
Singing was always pleasant for me and is maybe for you. Don't be afraid that there are polish words and that you can't do it. You can! And if you wonder what is the topic of this song, read it:
There was the king, there was a page
And there was a princess too.
They lived among seas, they didn't know storms
We can be sure it the most.
They lived among seas, they didn't know storms
We can be sure it the most.
The king was falling love, the page was falling love
They falling love with the princess
And she loved them too
They loved each other.
And she loved them too
They loved each other.
But one day came unimaginably scary event
The king was eaten by a dog,
the page was eaten by a cat
the princess was eaten by a mouse.
The king was eaten by a dog,
the page was eaten by a cat
the princess was eaten by a mouse.
But special for you,to you was not sad
My beloved baby
The king was made of sugar, the page was made of gingerbread
And the princess was made of marzipan
* I hope the translation is more perfect than unperfect ☺. Your amazing goal to know hard language exacly like polish make you rich and colorful person (Understand these words like you want ☻) and remember, people are defeated when they give up. See you later!
