welcome to the mememuses blog. here you shall find your weekly fix of classical hilarity. this blog was founded by three classical nerds in need of some therapy after studying the odyssey; they didn't take our case seriously, and so we made this instead.
our expertise (and trauma) is in the odyssey and the aenied, as well as virgil and homer. madeline miller's works are also something we are interested in expanding into. expect memes, expect incorrect quotes, expect ramblings of a ridiculous kind. let us delve and deal with the ancient world of the greeks and romans, and find the balance between the academic and the unthinkable.
and in the meanwhile, entertain yourself at the prospect of me trying to sound as poetic as possible whilst trying to make sense. the struggle is real.
