Slay the Princess animation WIP!!

📢 (Psst! Turn on audio!) Hello tumblr peeps! I've been working on a StP music video for the past year and recently got back to the project after long hiatus. This is the project in its current state. I'm currently looking for some volunteers to help out! Before you reply, there are some things to consider:

This is non-funded project. Any and all work you do is done solely for the sake of passion and love for Slay the Princess and its community.

You do not need any prior animation skills - There are plenty of areas that don't require any.

There isn't a strict deadline but to help push myself along I’ve set a goal for before the end of Slaytober this year (October 31st 2026). The majority of the workload should always fall on me first, and volunteers (you) second.

Try not to take this seriously! This is a passion project, and you should only join if you think you'll have fun participating. Any one person's burden of responsibility should NOT overshadow their own well-being. If at any time you feel too much pressure, you are welcome to leave at any time for any reason (but do let me know of course :P).

And with that being said, let me know if you want to participate by replying to this post, or contacting me directly via any of my socials. I'd love nothing more than to share my biggest expression of love for StP with other people <3 I can't wait to see what this becomes :>

online numbers can really fuck you up when it comes to your creative work because you're sharing something you worked on with all your heart but it's very important to remember there's actual people behind those numbers. even if it's 1. that's one whole actual person. that's a human being who said "haha nice". that's a connection with a REAL person with a REAL life and REAL thoughts and feelings and experiences. like. damn. that should mean something
