Convinced this dog who doesn't believe she is one that she should take a bet with me.

She has to "pretend" to be a dog for week in training as my new puppy. All she has to do is prove to me that by the end of the week long trial she can go back to being a person. If she can truly simply forget and escape conditioning for being a dog then I'll accept that she's a person.

However, whats more likely to happen. Is the week will end, and she will realize she was never meant to be a person. She will learn that being my dog is better than anything she's ever experienced before.

It is already so good at addressing me properly. We have to work on the attitude and even the slight aggression pointed in my direction. But I believe it will get there. I can tell... She was made for this. It was made to be mine. It deserves to be my hound. My perfect puppy. Useful to me in every aspect of itself.

I will become it's divinity. It's guiding hand. It's loving hand. It deserves to have every aspect of itself fulfilled. And that it my job as a handler. And it's job as my hound will be to do the same.
