The nerd is Black. While there are some jokes about his simp-ness and square-ness, his nerdiness is presented as the quality that makes him worthy to be their leader.

The jock is a disabled person. He also have other things in mind than chasing girls.

The sharp-tongued feminist is never tamed. She also doesn't have to be more likeable.

The slacker ends up being the one with the most character development, and the one to come up with brave, creative solutions during crisis.
