Hi! I’m just a fan of Parisian Sulfur on A03. I saw him interact with you countless of times. If I am not mistaken, you helped him before in writing the Kurahi Fanfic “without him” the last part of the Trilogy. What happened to you and to Paris? Why did you both abandoned such a beautiful story? 😥

ohhh I saw your comment, I think, on ao3!!! honestly, this was so long ago, I can't remember exactly why that story was never finished. I think what happened is just what tends to happen in writing—the personal stakes for the author were exhausted or came to an end, life got busy or demanded more attention, other interests cropped up.... Still, it is a beauty, and I hope it makes you happy to know that Paris has still been writing in the meantime, if not for YYH. <3

man i know i talk a lot about about relating to ancient artifacts but really is there anything more beautiful or relatable than the sleeping lady of malta. we don't really know what she means. is she a goddess? does she represent death? is she truly just asleep? but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter, because she looks exactly like me drunkenly lying on the couch eating tortilla chips while i watch reruns of diners drive-ins and dives

Hi Meta! I was wondering if there's a guideline for how much interest is too *little* interest to run a fanzine?

oops i always forget about my asks

i have like 3000 zines i want to make but will never make so i feel like i both understand this question and yet have no idea how to answer it. i guess the question for me becomes like, if 1) i think the idea will generate enough interest from OTHER people to be viable and 2) i have like a clear concept, the question becomes 3) am i really interested in the topic enough to do Very Boring Things over the course of 1 whole year or more to make it happen? Eg think about money. make spreadsheets. find and manage artists and/or writers. etc. if i have an idea i like, but the idea of doing that stuff makes me want to slink off into a shadowy corner, i usually decide that maybe it's not the best project to execute lol

you really gotta have a lot of self made momentum to get through this shit, especially because you can't predict where things will go wrong or ass up etc
