there’s a nice gash on his cheek — one that DEFINITELY should’ve been healed up by now, but he’d somehow managed to keep opening up — right under his left eye. his arms, bruised and battered under thick jacket, are sore, but sam’s dealt him far worse before.

frown ever present, he can’t help but roll his eyes. ( it’s about all he can do to hold back an annoyed sigh. ) he pays no attention to the EMBARRASSMENT the other displays. ( or if he does, he simply doesn’t care. )

her hand propped on her hips with a sweet sunshine grin stretching thin lips. ‘ it’s effortless , ariel. you have to let it course through you. let your body go free. ‘ and as she spoke her hips began to slowly sway back and forth with a couple twirls as her eyes shut to get lost in the music again.

he opens his mouth to speak again, but decides against it. she seems so invested. he doesn’t think it RIGHT to speak again, to break the flow. so he says nothing, does nothing.
her eyebrows quirk in amusement and, with a SOFT snort, she pushes his finger back down with her own. she rolls her eyes, slipping her hands into her pockets.
“ whatever you say, OLD MAN. i’m juuuust saaaayin’, ” she says, drawing out the vowels, “it’s BASICALLY the same thing. an’ you say it a LOT. guess i’ll just have t’live with your SHAME.”
he brings his hand back, and for a brief moment, something sort of akin to offense flashes across his face. ( it’s hard not to smile at her too. ) hands move as he speaks, however, each one splaying out with emphasis on the two keywords — he’s always been a very ANIMATED speaker, after all.

EH. like. meh. it’s a simple short e sound. a filler word, or, like i’m gonna use it NOW, used to express DISAPPROVAL or MEDIOCRITY. as in, your ability to distinguish between clear words is EH. ❜
