Lucifer automatically assuming that Alastor told Vox that he isn’t able to harm sinners implies that either Lucifer told Alastor at some point or that Lucifer will blame anything on Alastor regardless of how realistically it’s his fault and I can’t tell which option is better

So Vivziepop confirmed that Vox was dealing with internalized homophobia at the time he tried to confess to Alastor and since then I have been seeing people theorize that Vox is actually gay and just claims he’s bisexual due to his internalized homophobia.

I need you guys to understand that we bisexuals can experience internalized homophobia, since you know, we also experience same sex attraction.

Additionally multisexuals can have gender preferences, Vox’s love interests only being male doesn’t mean he’s not attracted to women.

It could also not even be that he has male preference, maybe he just didn’t found a woman who he resonated with enough to spark his interest.

I just want Alastor try to kill/manipulate Lucifer. But dear old Lucy just survives by dumb luck or being too dumb, infuriating Alastor to no end. I want Alastor to lose himself and tell Lucy that he is still mad that Lucifer wasn't the one that showed up on the ritual. Lucifer being like "well, you met my wife". And have them compete/hate each other the entire season. Just to decide to fight together at the end and low-key fullfilling each other's emotional needs.

I want them to be closer than best friends, while still bickering and "hating" each other. I want them to be ready to die for each other while also trusting in each other's abilities. But also I don't want them to be lovers. No physical touch other than the occasional tap on the shoulder and really rare hug that Alastor doesn't mind because it's Lucy. I want Lucifer to become Alastor's most important person and Lucifer be ready to choose Alastor over Lilith.

I want to get this deep, meaningful bond beyond romance or attraction.

So I noticed something very interesting about Vox and his victims.

Before killing:

Everytime Vox killed in his past he completly copied his victims behaviour, talent and even their style. And while he sabotaged some of them, he also manipulated the others to trust him. He pretended to admire them or help them out only to betray and murder them.

And we as the fandom lots of time pointed out how similar Vox behaved and dressed as Alastor:

So my guess is knowing how Vox behaved in life that Alastor might have been his perfect victim type. He already started to take on his style but unlike his other victims Alastor didnt fall for his tricks and saw right through him and he couldnt even hurt him.

Because of these he was never able to get over his obsession and switch to a new person.

I am not saying that in a first time ever Vox didnt genuinely wanted to be partners with Alastor or saw him as his equal but I also think his messed up serial killer brain might also has something to do with wanting to be with Alastor.

And if Alastor knows about Vox past and behaviour it is easy to see why he laughed at him and denied their partnership. He thought he will be Vox next victim. Used and discarded as nothing. He probably couldnt believe that Vox would try to manipulate him too.
