I haven't seen any of my mutuals say anything like this yet but;

Kamala winning was only going to prolong the inevitable. That's all it was, given how it has been for the past idk how many years.

Trump winning doesn't make it game over. People have lived through worse. What it does mean is that we have work to do. The civil rights movement took 10-20 years, so many other things took longer. But these take people working to get them the entirety of that 10-20 years

So what we need to do is work, but not for our boss, for eachother. We need to build communities and help eachother. Get out and talk to your neighbors and old friends. Be out in public go to libraries. Just talk to people. Thats the first step and one of the most important things you can do

+ dont take everything as 100% fact until december. Don't hold out hope it'll change, keep preparing for the worst, but don't accept it fully.

There'll be other posts that are better articulated than me soon im sure, but I don't want to see my mutuals that I care about giving up on life. It's not over. It will never be over.
