I'm making an expandable card game named WITCHES' REVEL, and I hope to bring the first box — WITCHES' REVEL in ETERNAL RHAPSODY — to everyone who'd like one before the end of 2025!
It's a small game of tiny witches with huge personalities, testing their mettle by trading devastating spells… before settling for bragging rights over tea! It's a love letter to all the myriad TCGs/CCGs/ECGs I've played in my life, one that works to find a challenge more compelling than just accumulating damage on a life total.
I'm gearing up to let people know and to produce the game; in the meanwhile, whether with a printer or a browser, you can join the playtest online and check the game out as it's being developed!
The hope is to respect your money and your time: no packs to crack and no randomness in any product at all. But, still, with some collectible extras, if you'd like them:

Hello to all my Fans, Followers, Fellow Artists, Friends and Family.
I felt like the year went by so quickly. There were way more ups than downs, and overall I felt there was a rekindling with many past friends. Which made me feel more grounded and loved. I felt I should've taken more candid pictures to document those moments. In truth I gained a fear of asking for consent and not taking any pictures.(When in past, I would take many, during my highschool and college years). But I would like to think it’s just for me. To remind and reflect on those moments. To be inspired by those interactions, and create art and narratives for sentimental stories. Maybe that would be an ok reason to just do it? Perhaps I should carry a point and shoot again.
I really want to draw/sketch more from life and from the depths of my imagination this year, so I have a HUION NOTE and maybe I’ll post on my stories/reels the pages I make. I have to get over that pigeon hole feeling and just do it. So please send kind words whenever you have an urge. I may not be able to answer, but deep down I appreciate the encouragement.
I want to thank everyone who’s viewed my work and felt inspiration from my pieces. From the way the lines move to the colours picked. Or from my early works to the most obscure. And a big thankyou to all the people who've commissioned me this year and in the past. For having trust in my artistry and creative decisions.
2025 feels like it's a milestone, someway somehow that I cannot pinpoint. So I hope it's all for the best!! Remember to go at your own pace, and like my partner reminds me. To hydrate, rest and it’s ok to say “No”. Also, reach out to those important to you and the ones who made and make life exciting.

200 Word RPGs 2024
Each November, some people try to write a novel. Others would prefer to do as little writing as possible. For those who wish to challenge their ability to not write, we offer this alternative: producing a complete, playable roleplaying game in two hundred words or fewer.
This is the submission thread for the 2024 event, running from November 1st, 2024 through November 30th, 2024. Submission guidelines can be found in this blog's pinned post, here.
This is inspired by Homeworld, and I wrote it a while ago, and here it is:
Your kind has taken to the stars, is hunted for it.
Each tag’s worth -1 to +1, left to right: Your ship is QUIRKY, RELIABLE or TOUGH; and it's also: PONDEROUS, HOMELY or NIMBLE. Your squadron is RECKLESS, TOUGHENED or SUPPORTIVE; your commanding officer CALLOUS, REASONABLE or ADORED; your kith clan ENTRENCHED, COMPETENT or WELCOMING; your mothership, where you live, BARELY HOLDING, A REFUGE, OUR BEAUTIFUL HOPE.
Pick two -1s; two 0s; two +1s. Write up three new for yourself, also, one +1, two 0.
When in doubt, roll d6, plus one more for each:
exploit one relevant tag, even negative
a PC helps
accept a complication
you act to fight and stake any tag, common or yours
Each d6, add modifiers of relevant tags. 5 rolls are one success; 6+, two. Well-understood actions need one; tentative, two; desperate, four. If you're cornered, you must stake. On failure, tags at stake get worse: +1 to 0; 0 to -1; -1 to lost. (To worsen yours, make up a new appropriate one and replace.) Their bearer is injured or struck. When anything or anyone loses their last tag, they're downed. Describe catastrophe.

The Proud Boys - a white supremacist group with a stupid name - planned a rally a block from my house today. The "belly of the beast" rally. Because apparently that's where I live - the belly of the antifa beast. Whatever the fuck that means.
2 hours before it was supposed to start, the park starts filling up with my neighbors. A drum line shows up. A brass band plays. The anarchists are giving away vegetables and nachos and some artists are selling jewelry. Black leaders give speeches. We chant Breonna Taylor's name. And all the other names.
No right-wing rally every coalesces. There was never room for a critical mass to congregate. A lost-looking man or two walks to the park, doesn't see their people, turns around. A right-wing vlogger trying to debate people is surrounded and walked to the edge of the park. Someone spotted with a handgun is chased through the park, to their car, by over 100 people. The ice cream truck music plays the whole time.
The usual guys sets their chess tables and start playing, the crowd of neighbors start to break up.
Nazis, we will replace you. We will displace you. We will louder and more numerous. We anti-fascists are full of music and love and nachos. We will always replace you.

My home town, baby!
When we first learn a term for something that we didn't know had its own word or its own phrase, when we first find out something has a label at all, it's awesome, amazing, "Wait, there's enough people that share my experience that there's a word for this thing?!" As you read through the rest of this post, don't forget this, labels are powerful for those who need them. When we're first getting to know each other, whether it be things that identify us, or turn ons, or limits, or just any general info about ourselves, labels are useful in directing conversation, in providing quick bullet points to touch on later. Any label is a branch of conversation waiting to be tapped. Labels are a great communication tool... but they are the beginning of a conversation, nothing more! Many people make the mistake of assuming that they automatically understand someone because they know what they believe that label to mean. People function well in categorizing things into boxes, and labels are what get put on those boxes, but it also prevents people from seeing the individuals in those boxes as individuals sometimes...
For a long time now, at least a year, possibly longer, I’ve been saying “I really have to write something on my view about labels.” Well, here’s a bit of a venting perspective on my view of labels.
Spoiler: I feel labels are both awesome and they suck.

I am glad Neil Gaiman confirmed that Crowley was presenting as female during the crucifixion scene
Because I have seen people argue that his Nanny outfit was transphobic, and I happen to think that’s a bad take. It would have been transphobic if the joke had been, “Ha ha, a man in a dress,” but instead the joke was, “Ha ha, demonic Mary Poppins.” But, you know, even though I think it’s a bad take, I can kind of understand where it’s coming from. We’ve been so socialized to think the joke is going to be, “Ha ha, a man in a dress,” that it’s difficult to put a man in a dress without the joke sort of popping up, if that makes any sense, whether the creator meant it or not.
But, if Crowley was presenting as female at the crucifixion scene, that’s a different angle. Because nobody is drawing any attention to his presentation, and the only jokes going on have nothing to do with how he’s presenting himself. (In fact, that scene is appropriately grim, overall. The biggest joke is a very dark one about how of course preaching a message of love and peace will get you horrifically murdered by the government.) Crowley’s presentation is just … there.
And if you ask me, that changes the context of the Mary Poppins bit a little bit, too. Presenting as female is not something that Crowley did one time, for a disguise. Presenting as female is just something he does every now and then.
I wish we’d seen a little more of it. Another historical segment, closer to our own time, when “female presentation” looks a bit more like we’re used to seeing and the issue isn’t confused by everyone wearing robes. But even so, I’m glad to have it there and even more glad to have it confirmed.
I bet that post-canon Crowley sometimes dresses up in a black dress to go to the opera with Aziraphale. Probably with high heels that could kill a man and very snake-themed jewelry.
Yes, oh yes. He’s wearing women’s jeans in the modern scenes too and that is a tiny detail that just gets to me, because it’s such a secret queer move: wear one forbidden thing, the least noticeable, as a comfort, a small assertion of yourself, if just to yourself. At the crucifixion he’d have an easier time staying close dressed as a woman, since they allowed the female disciples to follow along, and as Nanny he had the perfect excuse to dress up, but any other time it could have brought him trouble, and not the properly hellish kind. It would have been a self-assertion of a very human, personal kind.
I think the less it matters if he draws attention to himself, the more he’ll try on more feminine elements. He was always so frightened of being watched. His outfits were dramatic, but they were the kind of dramatic that told you not to mess with him. I think the new vulnerability and safety he feels with Aziraphale would help, and so would the knowledge that no one’s going to check up on him, no one needs intimidating, and he isn’t anyone’s secret agent. There’s no agenda any more, no secrets to defend or forbidden softness to armor up; he’s just Crowley.
I can’t locate it again, but I remember seeing a post saying that his glasses in the modern era are three hundred dollar women’s sunglasses. (Of which he evidently owns … well, as many as he wants, I suppose, he can warp reality after all.) So, yes, there’s also stealthy self-assertion to look for.
Oh yeah, I remember seeing that too! I’d forgotten. His hair is always just on that fine line between fashionable and femme too.

I am also solidly convinced that the waistcoat he wears in the 2012 scenes is a woman’s waistcoat. I’m aware that men’s waistcoats can have different cuts and styles, but (at least to my uneducated eye) Crowley’s waistcoat specifically looks like it was tailored to cinch in above the hips, and to accommodate breasts.
AAAAAH I suspect I’m the last person to notice this, but check it out – they’re wearing the same outfit. Trousers, waistcoat, shirt, jacket, neckwear. They’re just doing it in *completely different ways*. How cool! It’s kind of interesting – Crowley’s riding the edge of femme/is femme if you know exactly what to look for, but reads as just cool slinky dude to us. Aziraphale is dressed out of time, fussy and unfashionable, and reads as gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide. His femme characteristics are all personality-based: he’s soft, he’s kind and gentle (with an asterisk, that’s a meta for another day), the general cultural link between presenting gay and being femme. Aziraphale’s genderfuckery is how he approaches the world; Crowley’s is how he visually presents. I feel like there’s more here to dig into, but I’m not quite grasping it right now.
I do the same thing Crowley does in the series re:stealth-assertion and self-expression so not only I am now incredibly happy but I am also incredibly moved. Those two queer idiots are exactly what I needed when I needed it.
