Some fluffy Golden deer headcanons:
-Pillow forts are a regular sight in the golden deer dormitories. The students absolutely love making elaborate pillow forts with whatever materials they can find. Leonie has started multiple pillow fight wars that have even included students from the other houses. Lorenz often complains to Byleth about these āchildish structures blocking the entrance to his roomā.
-Hilda saw Ignatz painting one night and screeched so loudly that, much to Ignatzās embarrassment, she woke all the other students up. Ignatz tried to hide his paintings, thinking they would find his art worthless, but found himself instead being showered with an abundance of compliments. Now theyāve forced him to hold weekly painting classes for the golden deers as āenrichmentā.
- In these painting classes Lysithea tries so hard to make her paintings perfect, but ends up making everything just too symmetrical. Claudeās paintings are usually the opposite, being much too messy and eccentric. Lorenz constantly complains of Claude splashing paint on him. Leonie doesnāt really understand painting, and usually just ends up just copying whatever Ignatz is making. And Raphael has a tendency to break his brushes.
-Raphael carries snacks on him at all times in case one of his classmates gets hungry. Itās not uncommon for him to pull out a fistful of jerky and slap it on the table when the stomach of the person next to him starts growing.
-Itās also become common for Raphael to simply just... pick up other students. This usually happens when someone complains about their feet hurting. One time Claude wanted to see how many people Rapheal could carry at once, so bribed all the other students into whining until he carried them. The look on Bylethās face when Raphael marched into class carrying all 8 students on him is a cherished memory for the Golden Deers.
-Hilda likes to hold āgirls nightsā where she invites Lysithea, Marianne, and Leonie into her room to paint their nails and gossip. Leonie doesnāt really enjoy the nail painting part, but she does like the sweets that Lysithea brings to share.
-Claude has earned himself the title of ālate night therapistā among the Golden Deer. He likes to take nighttime strolls around the dormitory, and if he spots another student up heāll come and sit and talk with them. Something about Claudeās comforting presence, (and the fact itās 2am) seem to make it effortless for the other students to open up to him.
-Claude was also the one to start the āpaper planeā competition after a particularly boring lecture. The whole thing got so out of hand that Byleth had to ban all future paper airplane competitions. Lysithea won their first one, but only because she enchanted her plane to float.
