After reading the tags @starmin-marmin left on this post I've been thinking about putting together a bi-annual queerstake digital publication. Maybe with a couple talks/essays, some art/poetry/fiction. A way for us all to connect without having to pay money to travel.

Anyway, what do y'all think? Would you be interested in that? Actually, let's turn it into a poll (the most tumblr way to make a decision).

Ok Tumblrstake, I have a proposal. A lot of the time we all end up using our tumblrstake blogs to complain about/dunk on people spewing hateful bullcrap about our religion, which makes sense. It's useful to have a place to vent about those kinds of things. But, it is disheartening to regularly go through tumblrstake and be confronted with all the nasty things people are saying about us. So, what would yall think about coming up with a tag to stick on all those kinds of posts for filtering purposes? (I don't know exactly what, I would love help brainstorming)

It's funny how I'm only going to church right now to hang out with my dad.

I've spent a big chunk of time at church, and then away from church, and the back at church again. When I first stopped going to church it was because attending church hurt. A lot.

Coming back was a slow-rolling process of accepting one calling after another. It was nice, at that point, to be in community with other Mormons. It's been about five years now and I've had some high highs. But, I don't know, I'm feeling more and more dissatisfied. Again.

When do the microagressions get to be too much? When does the institutionalization seep into my local ward too much? When does the holier than thou attitude push the Spirit too far away?

Idk, there are reasons to be hopeful, to keep pushing along. I just get so tired of the neverending pressure. Idk. Idk.
