more headcanons for those interested:

- berilda is very touchy with sarah which makes beth very unhappy and jealous

- originally i wanted sarah to be covered in blood for this but i am not that good at drawing bloody people

- sarah definitely has more tattoos. seven 90s-ish tattoos to be exact. and she has a tramp stamp. she sooooo has a tramp stamp. some badass design tho. and it makes her even hotter.

- sarah had to take the chosen to go see dr bran multiple times because of his scraped knees etc. (and of course berilda uses those instances to heavily flirt with sarah.) again beth does not like it

- berilda and sarah at some point become friends. well. more like drinking buddies. but like best drinking buddies.

alright. a few things about this au(?).

Sarah moved from Boston to the small town called creekside

she now is a detective for the cspd

she just wanted a calmer life away from Boston and her failed marriage

turns out now she has to deal with a serial killer and being the only detective in creekside who already dealt with such a macabre situation, the creekside killer case consumes her whole life

her favorite spot to get a break from the case is a 50s diner near the highway - the coffee is not great, but the waffles are the best she ever had

a certain waitress named Beth is also a bonus

she always greets Sarah with a big smile even if the grumpy detective is sporting her grumpiest facial expression

Beth is a single mom who works two jobs and has full custody of her son Spencer (who prefers to be called 'the chosen')

Sarah finds the kid hella weird

'The chosen' is obsessed with Sarah and asks her tons of questions whenever he has to stay at the diner after school until Beth's shift ends because she can't afford a babysitter

there are more head canons I have for this au. but I don't want this post to be ultra long.

Begging to know how do you draw heads.

this is an extremely broad question so i can only answer it like i do it like this:

but my mental image of the face while i draw it is like so:

i think of my lines as uncovering or describing the 3D shape im seeing in my head.

my older drawings of heads did not look like this, you can go back and see my art from when i was 16! i needed to use much more construction points but my minds eye is now very strong so i can just take all the shortcuts
