Writing random chapters for my fanfic until I get out of my writer's block
Is this an excuse to write Steve Harrington x OC fanfics? Maybe. Also, I really have so many ideas, and this will help me get rid of the ick I get when writing romance scenes.
OC (Constance 'Connie' Elise Howard) x Steve Harrington
Summary: Connie and Steve have a complicated relationship. Doesn't help that they hook up all the time. Robin thinks they just bicker a lot until she walks in on them making out in the pantry of Scoop's Ahoy.
Note: this isn't smut because it takes place during Season 3, so both are freshly 18, so I don't feel comfortable writing smut. The hook-ups are more impiled.

It had been a while now.
Robin had sent Steve to grab more napkins, and Connie had offered to join him, which honestly should've been her first sign.
She rested her elbows on the table, humming slightly.
Steve Harrington. King Steve. Or rather, former King Steve. Robin wasn't sure how or why, but suddenly Steve became...unpopular. Sure, Tommy H. and Carol spread rumors like they always did, but nonetheless his downfall was brutal, espically since Nancy Wheeler had not only publicly humiliated him at a Halloween Party but allegedly ran off with Jonathan Byers, aka the Creep of Hawkins High, before dumping Steve to date him. At least that's what the rumors said.
Constance Howard, on the other hand. Robin didn't know much about her. I mean, back in her freshman year and Connie's sophomore year, there was a rumor that she slept with a bunch of guys in the span of one week, which led to the nickname "Whorelet." It never really stuck since a) her older brother, Oscar, was Captain of the Basketball team, which for some reason scared people off, and b) Louis Brown had apparently flashed a teacher for a better grade. Other than that, Connie seemed to keep to herself. Then, in her senior year, she dyed her hair blonde and seemingly traded all her pink shirts and blue headbands for darker colors. People started calling her the goth chick. Eventually the crazy goth chick after she got in physical fight with Tommy H. The change in her behavior was alarming, Robin thought to herself. Also, apparently she had gotten in bad argument with her friends, Kristy and Debbie. Kristy, who was in drama club with her, told her it was because Connie had actually defended Steve, and both Kristy and Debbie realized that she liked Steve. Enemies to lovers. What a cliche...
Her thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of the bell. She blinked to see Connie's younger brother, Stan, a tallish boy with dark curly brown hair and big eyes, next to him was an annoyed-looking girl, slightly shorter than him with fiery red hair, tied in two braids, Max. "Hi," he said, with a grin.
Robin sighed. "Hi," she said, back.
"Is Connie around?" he asked.
"Yup," she replied, her lips popping on p. Stan stared at her expectantly. "No, you cannot come in and get her," Robin said, folding her arms. "I'm here, tell me what you need."
Max groaned. "I told you this was a bad idea," she said. Stan held a finger to her face, silencing her. Max looked offended, but decided not to argue.
"Listen, Robin. My sister promised me and Max, here, ice cream for free, if we slashed her boyfriend's car tires for her since she found out he was cheating on her, and we did," Stan said.
"Free ice cream," Robin repeated slowly. "If you dump Kyle for her..,"
Max and Stan nodded.
"A bit ironic since Connie's been making eyes and flirting with Steve," Stan added, thoughtfully. "But who am I to say no to free ice cream!"
"One sec," she said, leaving. She poked her head into the break room. No one. Weird. She climbed inside. "Connie? Steve?" she called. If those jerks ditched work, Robin was gonna actually kill them. She heard the sound of something falling in the supply closet. Ok. That was normal.
Either they were hiding from her or.....
Robin pulled the door open and instantly regretted it.
In front of her were Connie and Steve. Connie's back pressed up against the wall, one leg wrapped around Steve. Both of their hats had fallen to the ground, and their hair was messy. And Steve's hand was..was..
"OH MY FUCKING GOD," Robin screamed. Steve and Connie immediately pulled away, and Steve stepped away.
"Robin?" they heard Stan call. "You okay?"
"Yeah," Robin managed to say, her voice highpitched. "Just thought I saw a rat,"
That seemed to convince Stan and Max who didn't push.
Steve and Connie's faces were bright red, and Connie was adjusting her skirt while Steve had reached down to grab his hat. They were obviously trying to avoid eye contact with Robin and each other.
"So..anyone gonna explain why Steve had his hand up Connie's skirt?" Robin asked after a few minutes.
Connie covered her face. "Oh my god, I told you this was going to happen,"
Steve finally looked at her, his mouth wide, offended, but he seemed to think arguing would get him nowhere. "Whatever,"
Robin stared at them. "Hey dingus, I asked a question,"
"Steve and I...um...we have been..." Connie said awkwardly. "Well...basically-,"
"You've been hooking up, yeah, I figured. But my question is, when did this start? Cuz you just broke up with your boyfriend. So like did you immediately use Steve as a rebound after Kyle cheated on you," Robin interrupted, pointing at Connie. "Stan and Max just came by, demanding free ice cream.
Connie closed her eyes, counting to 10 silently.
"Since February," Steve answered, not looking at Connie. "Then we stopped when she started dating Kyle in June. I guess it didn't last long."
Connie scoffed.
"You know what, I'm going to go and pretend not to see anything. Connie, I'm giving Stan and Max free ice cream on you," Robin said, leaving, then she paused at the doorway. "And Steve, please wash your hands before scooping ice cream."
Steve and Connie's faces turned red.
When Robin left, they stood awkwardly.
"I'm going to go," Steve said. Connie nodded.
"Yeah," she said. "I'll grab the napkins,"
He nodded. "Cool," he paused. "So you dumped Kyle?,"
Don’t you hate it when you make an oc, who’s the most wonderful innocent happy pure loving loveable cinnamon roll to ever exist and so naturally you give him the most trauma imaginable and drag him through hell so that he’s forced to become jaded and closed off but you miss his smile so you decide to be merciful and give him a boyfriend and that boyfriend finally allows him to smile and be happy and be himself again but

because you love this OC so much
you traumatize his boyfriend. And doom their relationship from the beginning. Because the OC was kidnapped and forced to be a warrior for an evil organization but he eventually managed to run away and start building a life for himself again and then met that boyfriend but actually that boyfriend is part of that organization and has been raised in it and he was sent to find the OC and befriend him so that he can bring the OC back to that organization but there’s a problem because that boyfriend is falling in love and he hates the organization just as much as the OC but he’s trapped he’s so trapped and it wasn’t supposed to go like this he wasn’t supposed to fall in love but dang it the OC is so wonderful and how can he not love him and he can’t just leave because then someone else will be sent and they won’t be as kind they will hurt him and he can’t let him be hurt and so he’s pushing the OC away but the OC isn’t having that and they’re meant for each other, they’re soulmates, but it’s been doomed from the start there’s no way for a happy ending and so you just want them to live happily together and be happy together and in love and you don’t want them to hurt anymore but ITS YOUR FAULT FOR CAUSING ALL OF THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE BECAUSE THESE ARE YOUR CREATIONS—
First, I'll be posting the characters, so people can know who I am referring to. Some stories will not be about them, but just so people will be aware.
