sipping on a dirty martini at the hotel bar at 1am whilst looking for her next rendezvous had become one of lucia’s favourite hobbies at the love hotel. she was currently dressed in her tight, glittered tinkerbell outfit as she knocked back whatever was left in her glass. locks of blonde hair framed her face as she fixed her bun before glancing around at her surroundings. her red lips curved up into a smirk as she locked eyes with the person across the bar. lucia had noticed them earlier but hadn’t said anything in hopes that they would make the first move but, after a few martinis and an intense need for a couple of orgasms, she decided that she’d initiate the conversation herself. "are you just gonna sit over there all by yourself, when there’s a beautiful blonde fairy sitting here with no company?” she pouted playfully as she began to play with the loose strands of her hair, her eyes bright with mischief.

having gotten tired of the party outside – mainly because breeze very much wanted some air conditioning – breeze headed inside to the bar to nurse on a few glasses of white wine. she’d been focusing on the hard liquor outside, but breeze was aching for something delectable to satisfy her sweet tooth. on her second glass, a woman across the bar caught her curiosity wearing a tinkerbell ensemble. after making small talk with some other people, nothing earthshattering, and halfway through her third glass of wine, tinkerbell captured her eye once again as she commanded breeze’s attention.

with a light laugh, breeze responded. “you look like trouble, mon cher. but i suppose i can make an exception.” with a sparkle in her eye, breeze grabbed her drink and waltzed over, sitting next to her with a warm smile. “you got me.”

Mira couldn’t imagine the comments she’d get from her friends and family if they saw her in her current state. Dressed as a highly sexualized version of Princess Jasmine, lipstick long worn off from a night of heavy talking, and carrying her heels in one hand as she tried to scurry through the Love Hotel at 5:52 am. She’d sworn it’d only been midnight last time she checked, but they do say time flies when you’re drunk and dancing.

She slid into the elevator and was puzzled by the digital button control pad for a few long seconds before making sense of it, and hit the button to start closing the doors.

after a long night that featured her knocking back several drinks and dancing with many strangers, breeze was tired. she’d stopped drinking a few hours ago in order to make the inevitable hangover not so rough and she was sobering up. hoping to catch the next ride to her room, breeze hurried to the elevator and caught it just in time as the doors were closing to make them open up again.

tripping over her own feet, breeze fell into the space and right into the other person who occupied the elevator. standing up to collect herself apologizing, breeze said, “oh god, i’m so sorry about that. please excuse my dumbass who shouldn’t be awake at 6 a.m. since I’m apparently lethal.”

the large hat rested tilted on xander’s head for extra effect. the costume party seemed like a perfect mix of interests: a nostalgic love for disney and fairy tales, but wish a not-so-childish twist. it was also a surefire way to learn some aspect of someone’s personality by the character they chose. unless for some reason it wasn’t based on favoritism in any way. but maybe that said enough too.

rolling his shoulders, he glanced around the party for the next person to talk to, whiskey sour in hand. he felt confident tonight would have a good end in someone’s hotel room whether it was his or the other person’s. maybe it would have multiple good ends if he tried enough.

glancing out to the ocean, the woman next to him put his thoughts to words and he had to smile back with a nod. it was hard to hear the waves over the speakers, but somehow it still rose to the competition. maybe the sound was imagined. “we do,” he said, “maybe we make it too easy on ourselves, living far away from places like this.”

breeze loved the sensation of sand between her toes and the sea breeze blowing lightly in her hair. the old saying was true: home is where the heart is and her home was across the pond.

breeze definitely concurred with the man next to her. for years now, she’d made her home in major cities filled with thousands of people, car exhaust, smog – breeze had abandoned what she really loved (besides her work): seeing the beauty the earth had to offer.

the past year, she played with the idea of returning home to europe. but when she got this job? it was something she couldn’t turn down as much as she wanted to. giving him a warm smile, breeze spoke. “you’re so right. oh, and i’m really enjoying the ensemble you’ve got going there –” she motioned towards his outfit “– i’m pretty sure if there was an alice in wonderland porn, you’d be a top contender,” she joked. but did she also mean it? yes.

when the hotel announced that there was going to be a disney themed beach party, sabrina practically burst with excitement. she loved disney. she grew up with all the films and it’s been on her bucket list to one day star in a disney film. preferably where she could play one of the disney princesses. she hadn’t had the call yet but she still held out hope that one day, her dream would come true. but until then, she got to live out her fantasy of being a disney princess at this beach party. it didn’t take her long to choose a character and pick out her outfit. if it could even be called that.

sab’s costume really didn’t leave much to the imagination. she had two shells that covered up her breasts tied together with a knot on her back and a scaly sequined squirt with a high slit that flowed around her long tanned legs. she pulled a wig of flowing red hair over her head before making quick work of her makeup and finally she was done. she spent a couple of minutes admiring herself in the mirror and making sure everything looked right before leaving her room and making her way down to the party.

by the time sabrina made her way down to the party, it was already in full swing. music was pumping and people were spread out everywhere, she spent a few minutes just casting her eyes over everyone’s costumes. her eyes paused once they reached breeze, her breath catching in her throat as she took in the full costume. she snapped herself out of it after a couple of minutes, closing her mouth before she could let any drool come out. she made her away across to join her, picking up a mojito along the way. she was just about to say something when breeze glanced towards her and spoke. ‘yeah, i do.’ sabrina replied, unable to stop the words before they left her lips. for once her eyes weren’t on the view though, they were fixated on breeze. a blush rose to her cheeks and she ducked her head before she could be caught staring. she subtly cleared her throat before looking out across the beach at all the other party-goers. 'it’s a great party, isn’t it? i don’t think i’ve ever seen so many disney characters all in one place before. with the exception of disney world, of course.’

to say that sabrina was beautiful would be an understatement; breeze almost didn’t catch on to what she said, being so caught up in her own head – tracing her tongue over her lips.

“it’s been a while since i’ve been to a party this big,” breeze admitted. “i forgot how much i loved just living in the moment.” and breeze really wanted to live in the moment with her ex right about now. she could imagine tearing off the sequined skirt, untying the link in the back carefully to remove the shells and...

breeze felt the heat rising to her cheeks due to the thoughts she was having and quickly started to nurse on her margarita, wanting to get more liquor swirling in her system. the effect the other woman could have on her was like no other and breeze thrived on it – sabrina was intoxicating.

The Hotel kept exceeding her expectations. A sexy Disney beach party? How could she ever refuse such an adventure? Dana had rifled through the rack until she had found exactly what she wanted. Honestly, she wondered why she just hadn’t worn something like this around the hotel before. Perhaps she still bought into too much of the culture of modesty. Most of them were here to go wild with no inhibitions or judgment. They might as well dress the part.

Stepping onto the beach as Esmeralda was like something from a dream. Of course, she had dressed up as Disney princesses as a little girl for Halloween, who hadn’t? But this? This was different. Hips swaying seductively, the brunette chose a spot on the beach, put down her towel, and leaned back with a sigh of content, her well-curved hips and toned legs on display. princess for a day and intent on soaking in some rays and attracting another prince or princess.

the sand between her toes, the light breeze, and the taste of tequila in her mouth was making her feel absolutely divine. also her elastigirl costume? breeze knew she made the right choice as soon as put it on. although, with her big boobs, the top was a bit tight but she pulled it off anyway.

breeze recognized the woman wearing an esmeralda costume and she was mouthwatering. with the alcohol having already hit her – she was a bit tipsy – breeze made her way over and with no towel, just plopped down on the sand next to her. “your costume? i adore it. your body? a wonderland,” she laughed, referring to the old john mayer song. for some reason, breeze found it extremely funny.

it was fair to say that sabrina’s confidence had been knocked a bit and she’d been made to question her talents and longevity in the industry. as much as she put on a brave face and kept going, kept striving for more and not giving up, she did sometimes worry whether she was cut out to be an actor. she’d been knocked back so many times but she was still determined. she wasn’t the type of person to give up easily, easily when she was doing something she really loved.

sab could still feel the lingering tension between her and breeze, it was almost stifling in the quiet bar. that tension had never really gone away. there were so many things left unsaid when they parted ways and as much as she tried to resist, she couldn’t help it as her eyes lingered for just a moment longer than necessary. breeze had some kind of unspoken hold over her, she didn’t know what it was but she could feel it.

sabrina rolled her eyes with a small giggle before she looked back over at the woman sitting beside her, she could feel the goosebumps rising to her skin at just the touch of breeze’s hand on her own. ‘i’ve missed you too.’ she spoke softly, a small smile pulling at the edges of her mouth.

for breeze, being at the hotel was a blessing. she really needed a break. sure, she loved her job. it was the absolute fucking best, but breeze wanted to rest and spend time focusing on her book and lounging around while also getting some on the side if she could. she just didn’t expect to run into sabrina while doing so.

even with the time that had passed, breeze wasn’t afraid to admit to herself that she still thought about the woman often. she had moved on, but that didn’t mean the feelings vanished. it was just one of those things that would probably never go away, always at the back of her mind.

as sabrina returned the sentiment, breeze squeezed her hand gently and looked into sabrina’s dark brown eyes. “glad to know i’m not alone in the thought.”

her costume had all the right elements. she wore a tube top with the incredibles symbol on the front, red tights with black boy shorts and pair of heels that made her legs look they went on for days.

when she finished getting ready and eyed herself in the mirror, breeze felt a rush of anticipation. if she played her cards right, she could definitely get somebody from the party back to her room tonight. once she arrived to the party, it was in full swing and she knew what she needed to do to get a little loose so she could show off some dance moves. securing a strawberry margarita – with lots of tequila – breeze moved her hips to the beat of cake by the ocean by DNCE as the wind blew her hair, studying the beauty of the ocean that gave her a slight ache for her home in france. awarding a quick glance to the person next to her, breeze said, “do you ever have those moments where you realize how gorgeous the world actually is? i swear we take it for granted all the time.”

The Love Hotel had a prime location. The drinks, the pool, the sun, and all the little shops around it. It was a quaint strip that had everything the woman could dream of. The sex shop especially had caught her eye. After her afternoon drink, Dana slipped on a camisole, shorts, and some flats and walked herself towards the strip of shops. Now that she thought of it, she hadn’t gotten any sort of toys or lingerie in quite a while. This, like everything else about this hotel, would be a treat.

She could afford to splurge every once in a while (as if the hotel itself wasn’t a splurge), so she started off by looking at some of the toys. She hadn’t owned many. Perhaps she’d get herself a new vibrator - one of good quality this time. Once she went back, she could use it and then think of the people she had been with here. Deciding to come back, the woman made her way to the clothes. She could use a new pair of shoes. High heeled ones… She spotted another woman looking at the boots. Also not a bad idea.

Dana stood beside the woman, looking at long, red boots. Almost like a stocking. Beside them, high heeled cowgirl boots. She had done horseback riding a few times in her youth, long ago. These wouldn’t help anyone ride a literal horse, but this shop was allowed to take liberties with the rides their buyers would find. “Kinky boots or cowgirl,” she mused out loud to the woman beside her.

there were so many items in the store that intrigued her already, things she had never done in her 32 years on earth. but what was the point in buying them if she wasn’t sure they’d be used? as she passed a clothing rack, she reached out to feel the silky, black material of a pair of panties and she groaned inwardly. breeze could just imagine wearing them with someone removing it with their teeth.

as she stood studying the abundance of shoes – how could she choose just one pair? – a woman arrived next to her, musing out loud. even though she had headphones in, she could still hear but decided to remove one and she put in her two cents.

“why not both?” breeze countered. she didn’t see a reason as to why they should limit themselves to just one thing. one could always gain money back, but the experiences? if you missed your chance, your missed your chance. you can’t go back. maybe she was being too philosophical for the moment.

Aside from bookstores, these stores were her favorite. Caroline could spend hours browsing through lingerie and toys. She enjoyed looking through all the new things she could add to her collection. She had already added a few items to her little basket before she moved to the next section. Her husband would most likely chastise her for buying yet another pair of shoes. Maybe it would even earn her a spanking, but she didn’t care. She wanted what she wanted and she always got what she wanted.

She had just picked up a pair of red heels, feeling the smoothness of the fabric beneath her fingertips when a figure appeared at the corner of her eye, making her turn when she spotted the boots in the woman’s hand. “Those are amazing. They would look lovely on you.”

breeze didn’t go to these types of stores super often, but when she did – she never spent less than $100. perhaps it was a weakness, but she didn’t care. she felt like she deserved fine things such as these for all the bullshit interviews she put up with dealing with her job. at the comment from the woman next to her, breeze couldn’t help the smile that filled her face.

“i could say the same to you about those,” she replied, pointing to the heels. “your skin tone plus that shade of red? you’d have everyone falling for you in half a second.”

it was the middle of the day and, quite frankly, breeze was bored. she wasn’t in the mood to write, read, drink, swim, or... do anything really. at 32, she should have some sort of idea on how to provide her own entertainment. finally it hit her. she hadn’t bought herself anything new recently.

a trip to the lingerie/sex shop was what she needed to perk herself up.

since she was already dressed, breeze threw her up her hair quickly in a messy bun before grabbing her knapsack and keys to her new toyota camry (yes, she splurged when she got the new job) with a small smile on her face. her good mood was making a comeback.

walking through the doors to the shop, breeze was practically weak at the knees. beautiful outfits, heeled boots, an infinite number of toys and props. with her airpods in and the smooth voice of alex turner crooning about knee socks, breeze immediately headed for the boots. what could she do? they were calling her name and she was not one to resist.

Sadie didn’t always feel comfortable when people brought up her father. It could be said that more than once in her life she was used to get close to him, she was pursued with the hope that she lived a more fame entangled life than she did. But she doesn’t get those kinds of vibes from Breeze, and the upfront honestly assuages any doubts that might have curdled under her skin. “I’m a badass when I feel like it but I don’t wear the jacket 24/7.” Sadie believed in trying on different parts of yourself like you tried on clothing in a store. Some days she was badass, rebellious and fearless and conquering. Other days she was soft and shy and reserved. Some days she was curious, other days withdrawn. She viewed herself as a collection of possibility and she never had to be exactly the same shape in the morning as she was when she went to bed.

The french is well…oof…who doesn’t have a thing for accents? French particular such a beautiful, sensual language. She could get used to being called mon cher. “I like to ask the hard question first and then the easy question, give you a breather, a chance to recover.” Sadie listens with rapt fascination as Breeze shares her answer. “That must have been profound to witness.” Her stare is lingering, on the way the strands of her hair kiss her neck, on the way her smile lights up her whole face. The doors open and she leads the way out, glad that her room isn’t too far down the hallway. That pesky card key tries to escape her fumbling fingers but she pulls it from her pocket and gets the door open, holding it with her body so that Breeze can pass. “Entrez vous,” she offers. “I took one semester in high school. I was great at mimicking the accent and understanding pronunciation but goddamn my comprehension was awful.”

as she studied sadie more intently, she held the opinion that she had some of the kindest eyes. her mother had always told her that’s how to know if you could trust someone. ‘it’s in the eyes,’ her maman would say and maman wasn’t wrong. they were like buttered chocolate with darker rays fanning out around the bottomless pit of an iris, swirled with caramel crescent moons.

“i could see you in a leather jacket,” breeze observed. “a pink one.”

the way sadie listened to her made her feel appreciated – there were plenty of people who had a negative view of journalists and breeze had dealt with her fair share of those who held that view. to her, sadie was like a breath of fresh air. “it really was,” breeze agreed. “i’d love to do something like that again if i get the chance.”

following sadie’s lead to her room, she finds out the other woman speaks french – however, that’s followed by a quick explanation, but breeze doesn’t care. she likes when others attempt to speak her home language in a serious manner. “you’re absolutely adorable,” breeze states as she heads into the room, sitting the bags on the counter. “
