I’m on a zoom call and the teacher is talking ab how they wanted to make an impact on students education and for us to remember them in an educational sense and I’m in high school and this teacher also taught at my elementary when I was there and all I can remember is this one time I bit a kid and I later found out it was this teachers kid and I never got in trouble even when I was waiting for em to come to me in a wild rage. This teacher is rly nice but I just can never shake the feeling that I’m on thin ice and at any moment they’ll KNOW that it was me that bit their kid.

I remember one time in 8th grade when I was sitting against the wall with the rest of my class for some reason or another and me and the guy sitting next to me got into a conversation about my asexuality. Now, I’ve always been open that I’m asexual from the moment I knew and no one botherd me about it, and that was probably because they didn’t know what it ment. So he asked. And I told him in the clearest terms I could what asexuality ment. Questions like, “does that mean your gay?” Or “how many people are even asexual?” Poped up. Despite the stereotype of a misfit that he looked like he was good with questions. After I answers all his questions and then some he got kinda quiet, and we didn’t talk again after that. I don’t know what he got from that conversation but I’ve never seen him make a gay comment after that to anyone. And the kids in his friend group didn’t really ether so I guess I did good.

I am not convinced that Zoom actually exist.

I’m currently in high school and they all talk about Zoom in vague terms. My Culenary arts teacher sayd “Once a week I’ll make something with Zoom!!!” I haven’t herd from her sense. I am required to ‘check in’ every day within a time frame of 8-11 in the morning. No one has told me how I am supposed to do this. Do I work on all of everything in that time frame? Do they know when I’m logged in? Are they watching me work? Do I need to invest in a cover for my front camera?

You know what else was invented by women? Masked vigilantes, the precursor to the modern superhero. Baroness Emma Orczy wrote The Scarlet Pimpernel in 1905. The character would later inspire better known masked vigilantes such as Zorro and Batman.
