Do yuo guys even know how important the concept of Fitz being pregnant is to me. No you don't because there aren't 50 fics about it on my desk. Please, I'm starving, I need it to live 🥺
trying to get through work but my thoughts keep wandering to fitz and the fool. help.
i’m supposed to just read other books now like anything will ever compare to what i just finished. i can clearly recall that entire page in my head. im mentally rereading.
i have never seen such soulmateism
i haven’t even written my review of the book on my app yet i can’t process it.
i was listening to the is fitz happy podcast and one of the podcasters mentioned she asked on instagram who would be better at giving the birds and the bees talk: fitz, chade, or burrich and it made me crack up so hard
but honestly? i think it's chade. fitz wouldn't be able to even speak, burrich i feel would be a bit awkward but forward, and he'd add some of his preaching like you should only do it if you're married, you need to mind her honor etc etc, and chade would be the most netural and direct about like it, this is how it's done, here's the science behind it, here's the herbs you can use, now you know
thoughts?
Would you fall in love with me again for Fitzloved except it’s them at all the different stages in life with years between them and how they’ve changed from their trauma but they still love each other.
watching new readers hit that first Elderling Tent mention like:
What is your most controversial Realm of the Elderlings hot take?
(Mine is that I kinda like Brashen and Althea. Their relationship is founded on both thinking the other is a huge loser. Sorry Graig)
Carved chests and wardrobes stood casually ajar, the volume of garments within threatening to cascade out into the room. There was an air of rich and pleasant disorder, completely unlike the Fool's ascetic tower room that I recalled of old.
so i'm rereading FE and i'm very surprised/confused by hobb's word choice of calling beloved's old room at buckkeep ascetic? which means "abstinence from worldly pleasures through self-discipline", because his old room according to fitz, is solely furnitured to provide pleasure through beauty? fitz describes the room as full of colors, light, and flowers. the contrast between beloved's colorless self and the "color and art" in the room baffles him. the objects there have no real purpose besides being pleasing to the eye. so what's up with that
thank fuck Robin Hobb didn't take us with Fitz on his journey to Bingtown and the Rain Wild River because he's literally just retelling the story from a decade ago and I can still feel my heart in my throat
Who up playing with their memory stone carving that their homoromantic best friend gave to them because they miss him so badly that they feel a piece of their soul is missing?
Fitzloved core
rote fandom are there any sickos and freaks among you… I’m still stuck in the fool’s fate pale woman puts beloved in bondage and then tries to seduce fitz as a method of psychological torture scene
tawny man spoilers
hey do u guys remember when all of Fitz’s scars were healed in Golden Fool 😀 how the scars were helping to conceal his resemblance to his father but without them it would have been too obvious at a glance. Fitz seeing himself “as [he] might’ve been”, a version of himself where he wasn’t so traumatized and injured by his being a Farseer bastard. a version of himself that wasn’t used and abused for his family. and then he had to put the scars back for his safety and to continue devoting himself to the Farseer line. ouch
We as a society should talk more about Piichi Nakagawa and the fear in this squid's eye
very happy abt totally normal guy anime debut :3
