I absolutely love Mikayuu with all of my heart and I have a little hope for them to become canon. The only thing that stops me from fully believing that they will get together is that Mikaela is sorta dead, though he can be brought back. The other thing is that Shinoa has feelings for Yuu. Shounen anime usually sets up a romance between the main guy character and the other girl that just happens to fall for him kind of out of nowher. If Shinoa didn’t exist or have feelings for Yuu I think Mikayuu would have a higher chance of becoming canon. I just want to say I don’t hate Shinoa or Yuunoa. If the creators decide to make Mikayuu canon, what will they do with Shinoas crush? Shinoa can’t just get rid of her feelings for Yuu. Please give me hope for Mikayuu.
