My art comic assignment for a class I took over the past couple of months. It turned out really well and I hope people like it. Wanted to create a full version of it but not as detailed or full of color. Maybe grayscale?
Anyway I got like 40 pages so far in sketches so I know I’m in to deep. This is the story of Blake and Leira and what happens to them after their story.
Concept and artwork for a creature as well as the enemy concept for the game Ufadore. Introducing the Zomlien, one of 2 types of enemies in the game. The cast encounters them and dubs them the Zomliens, a zombie alien. It’s up to them to survive and discover what’s caused this infection. And while they’re at it, what and if they can help.
Will try and post more of the monsters another time
I knew it was bad, but wow. Seriously, no centralized postal service means so much more than hiked up prices. It means the mail-in vote is threatened as well. Save the USPS.
TFW you want to save the post office in general as an idea, but your actual physical real-life branch of the post office has not delivered your mail properly in months and treats you like shit when you go in to ask about it.
Is there a ticky box for “Save the USPS and stop it being so shitty?”
Absolutely. It’s the one where we not only stop shitting on them, we give them more funding so they can be less overworked and maybe even change outdated and inefficient systems.
(Though it won’t change anything if your local office people are just assholes, unfortunately.)
Something different to end today. Some fanart of my toon from World of Warcraft, my hunter Zikala and her pet/only friend Flubs. I made a backstory and everything haha.
Tried making music for my game Ufadore, which is made for a super secret(not really) boss fight. Also on youtube, hopefully post some vids there some day.
A full set showing the height difference between the group, as well as a evolution chart showing their progress over the years. Planning to post sketches at another point.
Been awhile since I posted anything. Figured it’s time and give some updates. Sprites are almost done and final designs are done, so woohoo. One day this game will be done, after the demo....
I’ll be selling commissions for donations sent to the Navajo Water Project this week (June 29th to July 3rd)!!
These will work by discussing what commission you are looking for based on the prices below, and once we have met an agreement on the art piece in question, I would request a screenshot of your donation before I will get started!
The theme of these commissions are Food attire! (If you would rather step away from this theme we certainly can, but I’m a food kid, I love it ok?) Here are examples along with the prices:
Chibi (my persona) in a Baked Potato themed outfit:
Regular Style (OC: Yup Pixale, very basic Waffle Cone outfit)
These prices are based on American minimum wage ($15 an hour) and how long each piece took to make!
Please contact me directly if you are interested or have any questions. I have a document with more information, and we can discuss what you have in mind!
Thank you in advance for reading and your consideration!
A friend of mine posted this and tagged my old instagram account, asking me to share it. I figured sharing it here where I actually have a following, would be far better.
Please remember that just because the government is giving into pressure and greed, that doesn’t mean that any of this is getting any better, in a lot of ways it’s getting worse. And even if you yourself aren’t being as heavily affected anymore, there are people and communities that are.
Stay safe Darling ones, and help others remain safe too.
If you’re European, in a couple of weeks you will be denied any and all access to fandom contents on Tumblr and everywhere else on the internet. Here’s why.
On June, 20th the JURI of European Parliament approved of the articles 11 and 13 of the new Copyright Law. These articles are also known as the “Link Tax” and the “Censorship Machines” articles.
Articles 13 in particular forces every internet platform to filter all the contents we upload online, ending once and for all the fandom culture. Which means you won’t be able to upload any type of fandom works like fan arts, fan fictions, gif sets from your favourite films and series, edits, because it’s all copyrighted material. And you won’t also be able to share, enjoy or download other’s contents, because the use of links will be completely restricted.
But not everything’s lost yet. There’s another round of voting scheduled for the early days of July.
What you can do now to save our internet, is to share these informations with all of your family members and friends, and to ask to your MEP (the members of the European Parliament from your country) to vote NO at the next round, to vote against articles 11 and 13.
Here you can find more news and all the details to contact your MEP:
You can sign the petition even if you are non-European. I recommend you do, as many of us fan content creators are indeed in Europe. We would also lose access to non-European fan creations, meaning less readers, less fans and less customers for your home-made merch, commissions and such for you.
I’m reblogging this to FUZZY as this is extremely important. If I lose access to Tumblr, you will lose access to FUZZY. I would most likely even lose access to Webtoons, as it does have fan comics! Not to mention Patreon is not safe from this either.
A fun evolution of our three #StevenUniverse The Light games has been the type of art assets used for each. #AttackTheLight used only 2D assets. #SaveTheLight had 2D character sprites but 3D modeled environments. Finally, #UnleashTheLight features both 3D environments AND 3D char models!
Below is an early camera & animation test of the first 3D character model we made – Pearl! Despite using 3D models, it was important to us for the characters to closely resemble the stylized 2D looks we were so used to over the years (though with some updates and polish in each game!)
Each character’s 3D rig included controls to help manipulate various elements and maintain more 2D-esque silhouettes and poses. Pearl’s lovely nose, for example, gets rotated on her face to ensure it never directly points at the camera.
Once we bring the char models into the game, we partially flatten and rotate them to always face the camera. Our goal with UTL was to ‘fuse’ the first two games together, and that required some trickery to get these stylized 3D models to work nicely with an ATL-like perspective.
Despite all the fun we had experimenting with new pipeline approaches, our artists still enjoyed practicing their traditional skills during pre-pro 👍❤️
Work began on the first game in 2013, and it’s been a truly special privilege to grow and evolve our humble take on Steven Universe over the years!
Voter suppression is on the rise. Again. And unsurprisingly, it’s Republicans who are doing it.
I would like to point out that, this isn’t Russia doing this. It isn’t China. These aren’t Russian bots. These are Republican politicians and the disproportionately white voters who very reliably support their draconian policies.
In the 2016 election Republican legislators enacted racist voter ID laws, then they closed down driver’s license offices near black communities so that the required ID was harder to get, they closed down record numbers of polling places in black neighborhoods, they used the Supreme Court to gut the Voting Rights Act, they purged thousands of eligible, legally registered black people from voter rolls, they used gerrymandering to dilute the vote of black people, and Republicans continue to use mass incarceration as another indirect means of voter suppression.
I’ve said it before and Imma keep on saying it: Republicans are a bigger threat to progress, social justice and democracy than any foreign power could ever hope to be.

I just found out that some pro artists that work for companies like Dreamworks etc sometimes hold their pens this or similar way so it gotta work. Recently I spent 5 days on drawing for long periods of time (we talk about min 5 hours in one go to max 12 hours long crunch) and not once did my hand bother me.
As of July 4th 2018, the Internet as we know it might be dead for good.
The European Parliament is passing a new Copyright Directive.
Article 13 #CensorshipMachine will impose widespread censorship of all the content we share online. Art, fanfiction, parodies, remixes, mashups, memes, etc.. Anything that you do not hold the rights over will be taken down.
Article 13 would force all online platforms to police and prevent the uploading of copyrighted content, or make people seek the correct licenses to post that content. Internet platforms hosting large amounts of user-uploaded content must monitor user behaviour and filter their contributions to identify and prevent copyright infringement.
Such filters will be mandatory for platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Tumblr, Reddit and Instagram, but also much smaller websites.
(x)
This doesn’t just affect Europe. The content creators you love are going to be in hot water for sharing their art and writing with you online. Any and all content that doesn’t belong to us will be filtered. Even memes are at risk, as the person who took the original photo may want to file complaints against any platform that allows it to be used without permission. But it goes even further than that.
Last Tuesday (19th June 2018) a group of more than 70 people who have played important roles in building the internet and developing it (Tim Berners-Lee, Vincent Cerf, Jimmy Wales, Mitchell Baker…) into what it is today addressed an open letter to the members of the European Parliament:
“As creators ourselves, we share the concern that there should be a fair distribution of revenues from the online use of copyright works, that benefits creators, publishers, and platforms alike.
But Article 13 is not the right way to achieve this. By requiring Internet platforms to perform automatic filtering all of the content that their users upload, Article 13 takes an unprecedented step towards the transformation of the Internet from an open platform for sharing and innovation, into a tool for the automated surveillance and control of its users. […] The damage that this may do to the free and open Internet as we know it is hard to predict, but in our opinions could be substantial.”
Here is the original Article 13. It’s even scarier. / Link 2
Here is how to contact your MEPs.
Here is a full list of everything that will be affected.
Europe is facing a huge problem, and unlike with Net Neutrality, the world doesn’t seem to care.
