~Some personal notes below~

I remember working really hard on the 2019 one. I was built off a base that I worked hard on making symmetrical and guidelines for future use with characters in my first long term Pathfinder campaign. I also was SO OBSESSED with making sure my lineart was even sans the end points and that each stroke was PERFECT on its own. I thought it made it look cleaner. Tried to do that weird blushy spots on anime bodies for the cheeks. Like where they highlight shoulders, knees, breasts, etc.

Similar vibes with the 2021 one. Definitely tried to keep the lineart the same-ish but with deviations in the mini hair tufts and such. It did feel very "me" at the time with more optimism and starting to feel like I was expressing myself and freedom

Surprisingly, I didn't spend a lot of time on 2022. I had just cut my hair and I just wanted something to represent the new me which was exhausted, but still trucking and smiling as best I can. I was trying to free myself from the need to make all my lines perfect since it was gonna be compressed and small anyway.

A little less than a month away from 1 year since I made the previous icon and I make my current one. Tried to be generally uniform in line weight but not OBSESSED. Thicker on the outside with generally smaller on the inside. Its definitely a "ideal style" day both in hair and outfit. One where I go all out to express myself, my queer vibe, and gender even though Im usually pretty casual. Save for my nails! Always painted and usually in 3 different colors!! I also actually color picked from a photo so it seems more real. You know?

Calling all Brits on this hellsite.

We all saw Elon Musk do the nazi salute at the Trump inauguration. We know that he is influencing and fanning the flames of right wing political parties.

And that very well may include ours.

Because Elon Musk has pledged to donate $100 million to the Reform party. He has since mentioned that it might be hard to give such a large sum now.

But I don’t think we should take our chances. And I think we can agree that letting billionaires influence our countries politics is a terrible idea.

If you also agree here’s a link to a Parliament petition.

It calls for the government to remove loopholes that allow wealthy foreign individuals to make donations into UK political parties (e.g. by funnelling through UK registered companies).

As it is a parliament petition the government are required to debate it in parliament. But for that to happen it needs to reach 100,000 signatures.

Non British folk I’m afraid you guys can’t sign but I encourage you guys to reblog so that more people can see this.
