One doesn’t just fall into a hosting job for the 3rd highest rated dating show on TV.

Lottie had put in the dating leg work and well…had her own relationship crash and burn on tv. The woes of being on a reality tv show. Three full seasons on Bravos Spring House; a show about 8 20 something’s sharing a beach house on the Florida Shore during spring break, is what got her that spotlight. Long story short her long term boyfriend Jason was also a cast mate and Spring 2024 he cheated on her with her on screen bestie Michelle! The two hid it from Lottie and it was all aired out on social media and the reunion!

Fans really are girls girls though and they rallied around Lottie! Catapulting her name into the media stratosphere everyone wanted a piece. When Open Range was pitched production had no one else in mind. Lottie LaBouff was the hottest it girl with the whole world hoping she too found the love she deserved!

So now for the third summer in a row Lottie spent her days at a Montana mansion. Hosting a dating show where 7 bombshells meet 7 heart throbs pair up and search for love with a few competition twists - oh and a sprinkle of distractions to break the couples up. Looking?... well - sure, maybe. Gregory still had a pretty bad habit of looking over his shoulder and taking inventory of all of the people around him whenever he was in enclosed spaces (and that's on trauma), but his gaze never particularly lingered on anyone.

Before he could even begin to defend that however, his brow was furrowing even deeper as he glanced back to his phone - Christopher also having gone silent once he realized Gregory had been talking to someone else. "No - I'm... what?" He huffed again. "I make... set pieces for the musical, I don't even interact with the people on the actual cast... and I'm on the phone with a friend?" He finally said, making a small gesture with his screen as if to prove that.

Though he was thankful that his earbud was in because the words that came from Chris' mouth would have surely only set the woman off further.

"Look... I wasn't saying anything about you. Not to mention, it's the Swynlake Community Theater, not Broadway. I don't think anyone takes it that serious..."

Lottie did not trust a word this guy was saying. There were only one thing that should be happening since he did have some little connection to the musical. This nothing guy should be fawning over her. Lottie knew it in her gut that she was the star of this play with the best voice and everyone should be noticing it!

"Yeah well all of this just isn't adding up! I know what I heard and you seem to be coming up with a lot of excuses." Lottie sucked at the back of her teeth with a loud smack. "Plus I am personally super close with Frank? Yes Frank Mohanty and he gave me a tour of the set build just last week...never once did i see you. So cut the crap sugar!"

Somehow Dawn had fallen behind on her work assignments and needed to catch up before her performance was called into question. Unfortunately, as she'd hurried to a place where she could sit with her laptop for a few hours she'd broken the heel of her shoe and was forced to hobble to the nearest table while everyone watched.

When she heard the sound of the young women at the table closest to her laughing her face burned with embarrassment, but then she was confronted by someone who was accusing her of laughing!

"Oh, I'm not... I'm sorry, I believe you're mistaken. I wasn't laughing..." Her eyes flashed to the other table then back to the person in front of her. "I broke my shoe. The heel, actually. I'm the laughingstock, not you."

Lottie took a few steps back and looked down at the other girls shoe. Eyes narrowing as she peeps the broken heel.

Quickly snarling at the table just beyond them Lottie stuck up her middle finger at the stranger. "Why don't you leave this girl alone huh! You don't see us makin fun of you and that by dye job now do ya sugar?!" A fake little smile flashed across her face before looking back at the girl she falsely accused.

"Well you don't need to worry about her anymore." Lottie could tell just about anyone off! The confidence she had these days was burning with passion. Truthfully she loved it after the Kovu drama.

Lottie was getting her groove back!

Kim had been talking to a few people that she had met in rehearsals who were going to be studying at Pride U in the fall and staying in the dorms just like her.

They were in the middle of talking about who was studying what degree and who was still undeclared when a blonde came stomping over with a vengence.

"Erm... we don't know what you're talking about. We were talking about what we're going to be studying when we attend Pride U in the fall." Kim could tell her new acquaintances were feeling as awkward as she was considering they were looking anywhere but the blonde.

"Are you okay?" Kim asked the blonde, hoping to disfuse the situation and also get to the bottom of what made her storm over. She noticed her acquaintances moving away and she didn't blame them.

Lip snarling up in the corner Lottie pointed to one of the other girls. "I recognize this one from rehearsals! You were laughing at me during my wardrobe change last night! I remember!" Lottie did have the iconic costume change as a Heather and there may have been a malfunction with one of the sleeves but that was BECAUSE the hem wasn't finished yet!

Turning back to Kim Lottie sucked at her teeth. "So you are just a really bad liar OR you agree with her and you were bringing up rehearsals last night! So what is it? Are you okay?"

Johnny was still - yes, still - trying to learn the last of his lines. For as much as he liked the play (a surprising amount, even for him), he wasn't exactly the best. But hey, he always got there in the end. By dress rehearsals, he'd be perfect. Ish.

He was hunched over his copy of the script now, tapping his pen against the paper, slowly losing his mind, when he heard footsteps stomping toward him. No, not him - the table next to him. He looked up at the two twenty-somethings at the next table, whose eyes had gone wide as saucers. Honestly, it was no wonder he couldn't learn his lines. This was way more entertaining.

One of them squeaked, "We weren't--" at the same time as the other murmured, "We don't even--"

Johnny looked at his script, looked at the girls, and looked at the other girl, and said, "They were definitely looking in your direction."

Lottie knew she was not going crazy here! The evil little ball in the pit of her stomach would never steer her in the wrong direction. In fact they were really just looking out for her. Just like this guy. Looking over at the man with the script gripped in his hands Lottie jerked her chin between him and the table of girls. "So you heard it too!"

Lip pursed she snapped back to the table of nobody girls who thought they were just so cool!

"What is it then?" Lottie looked them up and down. "This guy here clocked your asses too. So mind sharing with the class!"

Oh, Alana knew exactly who this was.

Lottie LaBouff, who'd made headlines in the Squire for going cray-cray on her boyfriend or situationship or something.

But actually, she hadn't been talking about that. She wasn't about to talk about someone when they were in earshot, unless she deliberately wanted them to hear.

In reality --

"Uh, just that your nails look absolutely amazing?" Alana nodded towards Lottie's stylish nails. It was true; she'd been chatting with Francesca during their lunch break about how she was in desperate need of a new manicurist. "Where did you get them done?"

She did need to find someone good with nails. She also wanted to know more about this apparently headline making uni girl. At 28, Alana was admittedly out of the loop when it came to the uni drama. And she didn't really want to be dragged into it... but hey, when a gal made headlines, Alana got curious. Could you blame her?

This was Alana one of the owners of her favorite boutiques in town. Lottie knew that which would have been rather tragic if she had been speaking poorly of her! Bad for business sure but Lottie knew she wouldn't let that stand!

A small thought of catch her up and lets take her business floated threw her sparkly rainbow dusted mind.

Then the compliment came and Lottie felt her ego lift.

"Oh!" Lottie was flattered now. "These!" Waving her freshly painted pink and light blue stiletto nails.

"Sorry Ms. Alana." Again she knew who she was of course. "I have this horrid habit of thinking everyone is just out to get me!"

"I did them myself! I do all of my nails myself actually!" Wiggling her fingers she smiled and showed them off to Alana. "Ever since the salon closed I got my nail kit back out!"

Gregory was nothing if not a creature of habit. He was incredibly easy to track down, if one were to keep an eye on him, if only because he tended to follow the same patterns every day. So finding him at Hatters, tucked into a table, headphones in, coffee halfway done swapping between scrolling on his phone and scribbling into his journal.

Sometimes he just needed the moment to decompress. Sometimes, if Jun had time, he'd come meet up with him, but more often than not Gregory was working. Going on finances or setting up appointments, going over payroll or whatever else.

Today, he'd been doing inventory stuff for R2F while on a video call with Christopher, their easy conversation melding along with the general murmur inside the coffee shop.

At least... until his laugh was interrupted by a sudden presence beside him, his gaze immediately snapping up at the harsh tone as his pen stilled in his hand. "What?" Gregory all but laughed, the confusion evident on his features even as his smile started to wane as he realized this woman was... completely serious. "....I-...I'm not--talking about you?"

"Well I saw you looking!" Lottie couldn't quite remember if their eyes ever once locked while she was in line but she held her ground.

"What are you on some little tik tok live having a little blast?" Lottie instinctively leaned over to look at whoever Gregory was talking to...since it clearly wasn't a person sitting with him. "What are you some musical critic?! What do you think both May and April Von Lames are going to outshine me?!"

Scrolling through her phone the sound of her stiletto nails clacked against the screen. The coffee shop was bustling with conversations.

Did you hear that?! These simpletons are talking about us! Laughing!

Lottie felt her eyes widen as she looked over to a table and then to another.

Leaving her spot in line she stomped over - “I know you couldn’t possibly be talking about me! Why don’t you say that to my face huh!”

Lottie pouted out a frown. They really were the best of the best when it came to American snack but...she knew better than to push little Frankie Poo. "Suit yourself sugar! If you change your mind I've got the best skittles gummies out there!"

Looking down to her bag she bobbed her head from side to side and shrugged. "Well it really comes in handy doesn't it! Plus this is one of my smaller bags! You should see my never full! Really lives up to its name!"

Patting the side of it she smiled innocently. "I think the only thing I'm missing is a full wardrobe change!"

Which would be fabulous wouldn't it. Carry a whole outfit and shoes in her bag like Mary Poppins.

"I'd probaby be better off bringing a whole lunch every day but snacks are just too good!"

Frank supposed it did come in handy, though he had to wonder how her shoulder didn't hurt all the time from carrying around bags full of snacks all day, especially if this was one of her smaller ones. Though, come to think of it, he hadn't asked. For all he knew, her shoulder was killing her.

Frank liked his rituals; that was why he couldn't carry around a random assortment of snacks instead of a dedicated lunch. He liked to make it the night before, so that he could go to sleep knowing that it was all prepared. There would be no rush in the morning, no worries about having to run out somewhere in a short lunch break to grab something just to not have time to eat it and then be hungry all day. One less thing to worry about was always good when you were someone who worried about everything.

"I have to make mine the night before." Frank admitted. "Else I'd forget. And I don't have a snack cupboard with me." He added with a joking smile.

“I really need to be more like you.” Lottie was quick to admit.

“I swear I have no routine ever. I am such a go with the flow kinda girl I think I’d leave my head behind if it wasn’t attached!”

Lottie knew her mama use to tell her that as she flung herself out the mansion back door. A mile a minute without a single thought in that pretty little head.

Now she was doing just the same except in college and probably causing more of a mess than anything. “Every night I try my best just to remember my skin care.” There could have been a small hint of sadness as she called herself out but Lottie shrugged it off with a smile.

“I’ll just survive off my walking goodie bag I guess!” Lottie fumbles with her snack before attempting to take a small smoke of it. “What you make for lunch today?! Anything good?!”

Roux grinned again at her attitude. No wonder she could get hapless suckers to drop money on her. But since he definitely should not want to have a patron lose all of his money and thus not have any left to contribute to Pierrot's coffers, he felt it best if she did not try to take him for everything.

"I can do dat." He nodded. "Bon chance, cherie."

He watched as she sashayed on over and started to ply her charms on the guy. Roux moved a little closer, wanting to see her in action as best he could, but not close enough to let on that he was watching.

Her mark, meanwhile, was not falling all over himself like the previous man, but he could not help but be drawn in by her magnetism just the same. "Are you claiming to be a good luck charm, miss?" Even if she was, he was a little surprised that someone would go and give her that much money just like that. Besides, he was not really inclined to show some greenhorn how to play. "I'm not sure you picked the right game then. There's more involved here than just blowing on dice."

Shimmying her shoulders up she got a little more comfortable in her seat. Letting her face melt into different emotions. From confused to offened and then quickly into an ah-ha moment. Off too trying something new!

"Well I think I'm lucky just about any time darlin!" Lottie nodded with a smile. Eyes shifting to the cards - pretending to watch like she was going to learn that way. "I mean if you say its more than just blowing." Lashes fluttered. "Then why don't you teach me. I can't walk away without a little lesson right?" Chin tilted up towards him a bit as she now looked from one eye to another and then down to his lips. A slick move she like to use.

"I bet you're a mighty fine teacher mister."

"Oh I would love to get a look!" Lottie smiled big with a large nod of her head. Blonde hair flopping around from her high pony. "I can dodge some paint alright!"

Hopping up to her feet she waved for Frank to join her. "Plus with this little cute set I got over at Queen Bee I can't be getting paint on it! I would be lookin a hot mess!" The set was cute and she knew a dry cleaner would have a hell of a time getting paint out of it.

"You will have to show me the best bits!" Reaching in her large bag she pulled out her little pouch of snacks - nails digging through some of the wrappers she pulled out a granola bar and apple sauce pouch. Looking over to Frank she smiled and raised a brow - "You wan't a snack sugar?! I've got just about anything you could dream of in here!"

Frank nodded, quietly hoping to himself that he wasn't going to get himself or Lottie into trouble for offering. It wasn't that it was a secret or anything, like he'd said - more just that he didn't want to accidentally ruin anyone else's hard work if things had been left out to dry or set or whatever.

He liked working on the play, maybe more than people might think. It was something to do, sure, but there was always something sort of relaxing about working with your hands.

At the offer of his snacks he shook his head, saying, "Oh, no thanks. Brought my lunch from home today." Why he said it as if he didn't bring his lunch from home every day, he wasn't sure. He was quite intrigued by Lottie's bag, though. "You really do seem to have everything in there, though."

Lotties eyes went wide with wonder. What in the seven hells could Jack be talking about with this monster! Certainly he wasn't serious! So that only could mean something sexy right?

"Well I am dangerously sweet sugar so I hope that monster has got himself a sweet tooth!"

Elise slowly crept her way to the front of Lotties mind as they both dragged their eyes over Jack. The feeling of want started to fill her gut. Like a little kid wanting to grab a kitten and squeeze the shit out of it.

Licking at her bottom lip Lottie immediately clapped her hands together with a flow of excitement. The swirl of emotions was telling her this was going to be fun.

"So you ready to do whatever it is we are gonna do?" Lotties brow rose slowly "I was hoping to get into some trouble! Being good is just too boring!"

And what a good way to steer Lottie clear of other activities. He shuddered, thinking he might want to dance with him, to get so close that he'd see the beads of saliva on her sticky lip-glossed lips.

"Looking for trouble? Came to the right place," the words left Jack's mouth automatically, like one of those toys you squeezed that spat out all those stock phrases.

He smiled again. "Could start with drinks... or something more interesting. A little baggie of goodies."

Now bags of goodies were….not usually her favorite choice. Why? Well Lottie knew that some party favors were really just a gateway to a whole mess a trouble that she did not want to flirt with. The fear alone of ending up like some of the street dwellers I’d even New Orleans was enough to scare her straight!

Jack though? Well he didn’t have goodies like that right? Lottie never saw any of the sort around town? Nor heard any gossip with?

Ooo she just didn’t know!

Who would that make her? If she started to well…a drug!

So instead she played clueless to what he was offering and pushed for a drink!

Plus her idea of trouble was usually just scamming some schmuck tourist into footing her bar bill! Maybe even let her take some casino winnings.

“I am quite parched!” Lottie batted her lashes quickly. “I really do some of my best thinking over a nice glass of pink bubbly!”

Eyes followed to the bar. The voice inside making it impossible for her to not think of these goodies he offered.

“I just want to be wowed sugar!”

Frank nodded at her question, smiling sheepishly, as if he was almost embarrassed to have been caught. He knew he wasn't exactly the type of person anyone would expect to be good with power tools, but he had grown up on a farm. Whilst he had spent most of his time learning to use this invisible, so afraid of accidentally drilling into his thumb or something, he had, eventually, learned how to use them.

"Oh, I don't think they're a secret or anything." Frank said. "If you want to come and look, you're more than welcome. Just, erm, watch the wet paint. It's a real pain to try and get out of your clothes."

Maximus looked at Lottie at the outburst and he was almost amused. Clearly she wasn't any more used to her father being told no than her father was.

Then again, that was likely part of the problem. She didn't hear no, and she was willing to enforce that by any means necessary.

He stood up and went to the door and the officer waiting there. "Officer, please take Miss Labouff back to the cell now. I need to speak with Mr. Morake and Miss von Drake before we resume this interview. Please let me know if there are any difficulties."

On that last word, he looked at Lottie. Then he stood aside so she could be taken back to the cell.

He had a feeling a little quiet would do her some good.

Lottie felt her body almost flat line. Not literally but she went as stiff as a board. Back to a cell?! Lottie did not want to go back to a cell!

"OH NO! PLEASE!" Lottie wailed as she looked to the officer coming to escort her. "I will be good I swear! Please! PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME GO BACK IN SOME CELL SIR!"

Legs out stiff her shoes slid across the floor as she resisted for only a moment. Lottie started to hyper ventilate a bit as everything started to swirl around her. This was not good! The resisting needed to stop but the panic....Lottie just couldn't do all of this! Why had she gone so crazy! Why had she done it!

"Please can I get some fresh air! I Will be good!" Lottie let her body go loose again and cried - tears streaking her face. "Just put me on a bench please I will be good i swear!"
