You ever feel so overwhelmed by your own love for someone that it chokes you up? Like, legitimately brings you to tears, throat closes and everything?

Like, his friend jokingly called me his wife enough times that he's now taken to calling me that. And like, it's a joke right? And we've only been dating a little under a month and a half, but I legitimately can't wait for the day that I actually AM his wife. It's just a matter of biding our time at this point.

Gotta brag for a second about the gift the wife and I have been making for E’s birthday. He’s obsessed with the cartoon Miraculous Ladybug, and in it there’s this wooden box full of these accessories that the heroes can wear to summon the powers of the creature. IDK. It’s actually a pretty cute show, we enjoy it too. Here’s the box and the accessories, or miraculouses:

Gradually, it’s been declining, but i feel that right around the 1st few months of this year is when it rly took a huge plunge

Not only have i noticed this w my own art and stuff, but a lot of friends who create stuff have noted similar things. even popular artists and writers who used to get 5k+ notes per post are only getting a couple hundred. I used to get abt 800 per post and now im lucky if i break 50. 90% likes to 10% rbs.

Ppl say u shouldnt create just for the attention but damn spending HOURS on smth and getting little to no feedback when u used to get a decent amount is shit

Body language is completely unique to every single individual person and the science of body language is almost if not completely unreliable and if I have to listen to one more person claim they can “read” me by my body language I’m gonna flip.

MULTIPLE people in my life have told me they can “tell” I’m “self conscious” because I look at my feet when I walk and they say it like they want me to open up about some social insecurities, like I have some wall they’re about to break down and we’ll have a moment

And I tell them the same truth every single time:

As a kid we had two MASSIVE Holly trees in the backyard and my dad and my uncle, both well meaning but perhaps poor planners, said “yes a great place for a swing set is directly beneath those.”

So they built it there and the issue is that entire section of yard was a Minefield of dried Holly leaves with one final mission before they became dirt which was to Stab themselves into a child’s foot

And being that my siblings and I had some feral rage aversion to wearing shoes, we took to running to the swings on our tiptoes, staring at the ground for the leaves

And to this DAY I still look at the ground when I walk out of habit formed by a decade of that

And NO body language guide and NO BBC Sherlock wannabe would EVER source that

I look down because I have a propensity to trip over literally nothing. I was once walking in Walmart and there was nothing in my way, and I fell and hurt my ankle so bad I had to use one of the scooter carts for the rest of the time we were there. When I look at my feet/the ground, I’m 90% less likely to trip over them...

Also sometimes I just don’t want to talk to people and they’re much less likely to say something first if I’m not looking up.
