I got Ride or Die tattooed a couple of months ago. When I met Lana last year, we spoke of what Ride meant to us both, about how that song had shaped the last few years of my life. Whenever it was dark and we were driving for a while, me and my brother would put it on, wind down the windows and let the song completely take over everything. I would cry and we would have a moment. Then we wouldn’t listen to it for months, because it was always too emotive for me.

We saw Lana play for the first time 5 years ago, what followed was something that nor me or Michael could ever begin to explain to anybody else. Ride or die is a reminder of the things I love and the way I want to live, fully, unapologetically and with no half measures. There are too many things to say but to have Lana’s writing tattooed is incredibly special to me. “I’ve got a war in my mind, so I just ride…”
